<br /> ,Committee of the Mission Inn Foundation, issued invi=ations to the premiere of the
<br /> ,Mission Inn Dinner Theater production of A Christmas Carol on November 6, 1981, to
<br /> %benefit the reopening of the Catacombs at the Mission Inn.

<br /> ,The Mayor presented to Jack Sifers a Proclamation lending support to ~he National
<br /> ~Lupus Week on October 18-24, 1981. ,

<br /> CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
<br /> ~ZONING CASE C-8-812 - J. WHITE - 2871 AND 2891 UNIVERSITY AND 3768 PARK
<br /> ~A coum~unication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br /> ~September 17, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes and 1 abstention,
<br />~approved subject to conditions the request of J. White, Zoning Case C-8-812, for a
<br /> ~conditional use permit to reconstruct and modernize a nonconforming service station by
<br /> ~including a pump island canopy and new pump islands on property situated on the north-
<br /> ~easterly corner of University and Park Avenues, located at 2871 and 2891 University
<br /> ~Avenue and 3768 Park Avenue, in Zone C-3; and determined that the proposal would not
<br /> ~have a significant adverse environmental effect. It was determined that the matter
<br /> ~would not be set for public hearing by the City Council.

<br /> TIME EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-39-789
<br /> ;A communication was.presented from Ludwig F. Gneiting requesting a one-year time
<br /> extension in which to complete the conditions of approval under Zoning Case R-39-789,
<br /> 'being .8 acre of land situated on the southerly side of Arlington Avenue easterly of
<br /> ~Adams Street, located in the 5900 block of Arlington Avenue. Petition for a zone
<br /> change was granted on December 19, 1978, and this is the second request for a time
<br /> ~extension. The time extension was granted to December 19, 1982, as requested.

<br /> ,CASE PS-13-789 - NELY. CORNER TYLER AND KELLER - TIME EXTENSION ON RDP
<br /> ,A communication was presented from the Planning Department reco~ending that the City
<br /> 'Council approve a final time extension to April 15, 1982, for Case PS-13-789, the
<br /> proposed development of approximately 1.5 acres 9f land with 13 apartment units situ-
<br /> ated on the northeasterly corner of Tyler Street and Keller Avenue, in Zone R-1-65,
<br /> tentatively approved for Zones R-3-30-S-l&2. The recommendation was approved, and the
<br /> City Council extended the final expiration date to April 15, 1982.
