All Ayes <br /> <br />,The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Bob Wright representing the <br />~Riverside Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />,The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to <br />those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for <br />consideration, with the addition of increased City contribution to the health insurance Motion ,X, <br />to the report regarding salary changes and fringe benefits for IBEW-related management Second <br />classes. All Ayes <br /> <br />~BOARD OF ZONINC ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />~ZONING CASE V-34-812 - J. CHUNG-HSIUNG - 5410 MACNOLIA - DENIAL <br />~A communication was presented from the Board of Zoning Adjustment advising that, on <br />~September 21, 1981, the Board, by a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, denied the request of <br />;J. Chung-Hsiung, Zoning Case V-34-812, for a proposed variance to erect an illuminated <br />double-faced freestanding identification sign approximately 24 square feet in area and <br />15 feet in overall height indicating the name of a nonconforming grocery store where <br />ino sign is permitted on property situated on the southeasterly corner of Magnolia and <br />Bandini Avenues, located at 5410 Magnolia Avenue, in Zone ~-t-65. It was determined <br />;the City Council would not set the matter for public hearing, and the denial stands. <br /> <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION COMMISSION <br /> <br /> CASE EPC-9-812 - PROPOSED CRADINC PLAN - TRACT 6301-3 - CRAMERCY AND PEACOCK <br />;A communication was presented from the Environmental Protection Commission advising <br />that, on September 9, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 1 no, determined <br />that the proposed grading plan for Tract 6301-3, a division of approximately 15.3 <br />acres of land located northerly of Gramercy Place and westerly of Peacock Lane into 20 <br />single-family residential lots, would not have a significant adverse environmental <br />effect, providing certain mitigating measures are met, Case EPC-9-812. The <br />Commission's finding was upheld by the City Council. <br /> <br /> CASE EPC-13-812 - PROPOSED CRADINC PLAN - TRACT 6301-6 - CIRCLE VIEW AND ANN ARBOR <br /> A communication was presented from the Environmental Protection Cormnission advising <br /> that, on September 9, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes, determined <br /> that the proposed grading plan for Tract 6301-6, a division of approximately 5.9 acres <br /> of land located southerly of the intersection of Circle View Drive and Ann Arbor Court <br /> into 20 single-family residential lots, would not have a significSnt adverse environ- <br /> mental effect, providing certain mitigating measures are met, Case EPC-13-812. The <br /> Commissfon's finding was upheld by the City Council.~ <br /> <br /> PLANMINt DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> TIME EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONINC CASE R-27-778 <br />A communication was presented from Robert A. McCarty requesting a one-year extension <br />of time from October I1, 1981, in which Co complete the conditions of approval under <br />Zoning Case R-27-778, being approximately i i/3 acres of land situated on the south <br />side of Jurupa Avenue about 200 feet easterly of Tower Road (extended), located at <br />4672 and 4680 Jurupa Avenue. Petition for a zone change was granted on October 11, <br />1977, and this is the third request for a time extension.
