<br />,ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION COMMISSION
<br />Ed Jackson, Jean Salpas and Jerry Davis were interviewed for membership on the
<br />Environmental Protection Commission. Following the interviews, upon advice that
<br />Barbara PcLggs is no longer eligible to serve, her seat was declared vacant, and Mayor
<br />Brown was requested to send the appropriate letter thanking her for her service on the
<br />:Commission. Jean Salpas was appointed to a four-year term ending October 1, 1985;
<br />~Jerry Davis was appointed to serve.the remainder of a term ending October 1, 1982; and
<br />Ed Jackson was designated as the alternate.

<br /> ~AYOR~S COMMISSION ON AGING
<br />The following candidates were interviewed for membership on the Mayor~s Commission on
<br />~ging: Louis Peppito, Genevieve Russell, Esthermac-Kleinman~ Raymond Skeehan. Follow'lng:
<br />=the interviews, Esthermac Kleinman and Louis Peppito were appointed to four-year terms
<br />iending October 1, 1985; and Raymond Skeehan was appointed alternate.

<br />~CULTURAL HERITAGE BOARD
<br />~Joan Ramey was reappointed to the Cultural Heritage Board to serve a four-year term
<br />iending October 1, 1985.
<br />
<br />~Following a brief discussion, it was the decision of the City Council not to appoint ne~
<br />~nembers to the Public Utilities Board, the Museum Board and the Parking, Traffic and
<br />,Streets Commission until several candidates, unable to appear this date, can be
<br />,rescheduled for interview.
<br />
<br />~PUBLIC UTILITIES BOARD
<br />A1 White, Max Neiman and Mason Gaffhey were interviewed for membership on the Public
<br />,Utilities Board.
<br />
<br />Councilman Shepard was excused at this time.
<br />
<br />MUSEUM BOARD
<br />Nancy Paul was interviewed, and was reappointed to the Museum Board to serve a four-yeaz
<br />term ending October 1, 1985.

<br /> RECESS
<br />:At 6:35 p.m., the City Council recessed for dinner, and reconvened at 7:00 p.m., with
<br />~all Members present except Councilmen Shepard and Digati, and with Mayor Pro Tempore
<br />:Frizzel presiding.

<br />BOARD OF ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS AND ZONING ADJUSTMENT - DESIGN REVIEW BOARD
<br />=It was the decision of the City Council to reconsider two actions taken on
<br />~Septemb r 30, 1981. Following a brief discussion, Katherine Westley was appointed to
<br />~serve aefour-year term ending October 1, 1985, on the Board of Administrative Appeals
<br />~and Zoning Adjustment; and Pauline Brandon was appointed to serve a three-year term
<br />i ending October 1, 1984, on the Design Review Board.
