<br /> ZONING CASE MP-3-778 (REVISED) - FLEXSTEEL INDUSTRIES, INC. - NELY. CORNER ACORN AND

<br /> A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br /> September 3, 1981, the Commission, contrary to the Planning Department's recommenda-
<br /> tion, and by a vote of 5 ayes to 3 noes, approved subject to conditions the proposal '
<br /> of Flexsteel Industries, Inc., Zoning Case M~-3-778 (Revised), to revise an approved
<br /> ~plot plan to approve a variance to allow fencing on the property line at an existing
<br /> ~industrial facility on an approximate ten-acre site located on the northeasterly
<br /> ~corner of Acorn Street and Central Avenue in Zone MP. It was determined that the City
<br /> ~Council would not set the matter for public hearing.

<br /> ~CASE EPC-8-812 - PROPOSED STREET IMPROVEMENTS - TWELFTH BETWEEN SEDGWICK AND OTTAWA
<br /> ~A communication was presented from the Environmental Protection Commission advising
<br /> [that, on August 26, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, determined

<br /> ~ hat the proposed street improvements along Twelfth Street between Sedgwick and Ottawa
<br /> ~Ave would not have a significant adverse environmental effect, subject to the
<br /> ~ t gating measure that the City will plant live oak trees at 2192 and 2172 Twelfth

<br /> ~ teet, Case EPC-8-812. The Commission's finding was upheld by the City Council.

<br /> ~TIME EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-24-767
<br /> .A communication was presented from Ernest N. Webb, Albert A. Webb Associates,
<br /> requesting a one-year extension of time from November 20, 1981, in which to meet
<br /> !the conditions of approval under Zoning Case R-24-767, being approximately 32 acres of
<br /> 'land situated northwesterly of Magnolia Avenue and the Riverside Freeway (Route 91)
<br /> between Golden Avenue and Pierce Street southerly of the La Sierra Storm Channel.
<br /> Petition for a zone change was granted on November 20, 1979, and this is the first
<br /> request for a time extension. The City Council granted the time extension to
<br /> November 20, 1982, as requested.

<br /> TIME EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-14-778
<br /> A communication was presented from Ernest N. Webb, Albert A. Webb Associates,
<br /> requesting a one-year extension of time from October 25, 1981, in which to complete
<br /> the conditions of approval under Zoning Case R-14-778, relating to eight acres of land
<br /> situated on the north corner of Banbury Drive and Diana Avenue. Petition for a zone
<br /> :change was granted on October 25, 1977, and this is the third request for a time
<br /> ~extension. The City Council granted the time extension to October 25, 1982, as
<br /> Irequested.
