Motion ]X~ <br />, Second <br />, All Ayes <br /> <br />,Public Works Director Wales introduced the new Superintendent of Solid Waste, Mel <br /> Hamilton. <br /> <br />.The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of David Doig representing the <br />Riverside Chamber of Commerce and Harvey Johnson representing the La Sierra Chamber of <br />Commerce. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> The following items were approved by. one motion affirming the actions appropriate to <br /> those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for , <br /> consideration with the exception of Parcel b~p 15014 (Revised), time extension request <br /> on conditions of approval for Zoning Case R-25-790, revised Parks Capital Improvement Motion <br /> Program, and purchase of Mr. Rubidoux property, all of which were removed to the Second ~X~ <br /> Discussion Calendar. All Ayes <br /> <br />CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />ZZONING CASE MP-1-812 - GINO FORLIN - 8178 MAR VISTA COURT <br />~A communication was presented from the City Planning Co~unission advising that, on <br />~July 9, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 1 no, approved subject to condi- <br />,t~ons the proposal of Gino Forlit, Zoning Case MP-1-812, to construct an industrial <br />~building and incidental parking on vacant land situated on the southeast side of Mar <br />, xsta Court westerly of St. Lawrence Street, located at 8178 Mar Vista Court, in Zone <br />~be; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse environmental <br />[effect. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public <br />~hearing. <br /> <br />[ZONING CASE C-3-812 - THE ISLAMIC SOCIETY OF RIVERSIDE, INC. - LINDEN ELY. OF GAGE <br />~CANAL <br />~A communication was presented from the City Planning Cou~ission advising that, on <br />BJuly 9, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 2 noes, approved subject to <br />,conditions the request of The Islamic Society of ILiverside, Incorporated, Zoning Case <br />~C-3-812, for a conditional use permit to establish, operate and maintain a church and <br />,educational facilities on =he vacant approximately 3.5 acres of land situated on the <br />,south side of Linden Street easterly of the Gage Canal, in Zone R-3; and determined <br />that the proposal would not have a significant adverse environmental effect. It was <br />determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public hearing. <br /> <br /> CASE NC-2-812 - NAFLE CHANGE - KIRK STREET TO RAVENCREST COURT - RESOLUTION <br />!A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on <br />July 23, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, approved the request of <br />Sunset Ranch, Case NC-2-812, to change the name of Kirk Street, lying southerly of <br />~Trafalgar Avenue and easterly of Sunset Ranch Drive, to Ravencrest Court. The name <br />Tchange was approved; and Resolution No. 14469 of the City Council of the City of <br />Riverside, California, Changing the Name of a Portion of Kirk Street to Ravencrest <br />~Court, was presented; and the title having been read, and further reading waived by <br />the unanimous consent of Councilmembers present, was adopted. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE V-195-801 - LANDEVCO-SUKUT VENTIRES - NORTHEAST CORNER CHICAGO AND THIRD <br />=A communication was presented from the Board of Zoning Adjustment advising that, on <br />~july 6, 1981, the Board, by a vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to conditions ...... , <br />,the request of Landevco-Sukut Ventures, Zoning Case V-195-801, for a variance co <br /> <br />67-38 <br /> <br /> <br />
