<br />[The ~L~nutes of the Meeting of May 5, 1981, were approved with the correction of the
<br />~last sentence of the hearing pertaining to Zoning Case R-39-g01, page 66-484, to read:
<br />~"Further, Zones RO-S-1 were approved, subject to the conditions listed in full in the Motion ',X',
<br />[Minutes of April 7, 1981; the findings were authorized to be prepared and executed; Second ',X~
<br />'and the ordinance was introduced." A1Z Ayes

<br />iMayor Brown recognized the presence in the audience of =he students from various high
<br />~schools participating in the Youth in Government Day Progrim, and introduced the
<br />~participan~s to their City Official Counterparts.

<br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Ned Fia representing the Riverside
<br />~Chamber of Connmerce, Manny Armendarez representing the Arlington Chamber of Commerce
<br />~and Vera Baumgartner representing the La Sierra ChaSer of Commerce.
<br />~ CONSENT CALENDAR
<br />,The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to
<br />ithose items listed on ~he Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for
<br />~consideration, with the excep=ion of =he proposed use of the Mulberry Street building Motion ',X~
<br />~by the Abundant Life organization and the report regarding the Sanitary Landfill Second ~X',
<br />~permit, both of which were removed to the Discussion Calendar. All Ayes

<br /> CASE EPC-40-801 - PROPOSED GRADING PLAN - SELY. CORNER BRADLEY AND ALESSANDRO
<br />&A communication was presented from the Environmental Protection Commission advising
<br />;that, on April 15, 1981, ~he Cofmnission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, determined
<br />ithat :he proposed grading plan for a day care center located on the southeasterly
<br />,corner of Bradley Street and Alessandro Boulevard would not have a significant adverse
<br />ienvironmental effect, Case EPC-40-801. The Commission finding was upheld by the City
<br />iCouncil.

<br />[TIME EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-63-756
<br />%A communication was presented from Joseph J. Peri, Jr., Real Estate Consultant,
<br />}reQuesting a one-year time extension from August 17, 1981, in which to complete the
<br />}conditions of approval under Zoning Case R-63-756, being approximately 1.5 acres of
<br />{land situated on the northeasterly side of Hole Avenue approximately 100 feet south-
<br />}easterly of Mitchell Avenue, located at 10789 Hole Avenue. Petition for a zone change
<br />~was granted on August 17, 1976, and this is the third request for a time extension;
<br />{whereupon, =he request was approved, and the time extension was granted to August 17,
<br />{1982.

<br /> TIME EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-87-778
<br />{A communication was presented from Ernest N. Webb, Albert A. Webb Associates,
<br />%requesting a one-year t~Jne extension from June 13, 1981, in which to complete the
<br />%condi=ions of approval under the remaining portion of Zoning Case R-87-778, being
<br />Iproperty located on Indiana Avenue southwesterly of Tyler Street. Petition for a zone
<br />{change was granted on June 13, 1978; permission to split ~he zoning case was given on
<br />}September 5, 1978, and a portion of the zoning case was finalized on April 17, 1979;
<br />~and this is the second request for a time extension; whereupon, the request was
<br />%approved, and the time extension was granted to June 13, 1982.

<br />{TIME EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-89-778
<br />{A communication was presented from Ernest N. Webb, Albert A. Webb Associates,
<br />~requesting a one-year time extension from June 27, 1981, in which to complete the
<br />}conditions of approval under Zoning Case R-89-778, being about 2,940 square feet of
<br />~property situated approximately 130 feet southwesterly of E1 Hijo Street and approxi-
<br />,~nately 345 feet northwesterly of Magnolia Avenue. Petition for a zone change was
<br />%granted on June 27, 1978; on December 12, 1978, the City Council approved the request
