Pendell, Wesley United Methodist Church. <br />,The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. <br /> <br />~MI~TTES <br />,~he Minutes of the Meetings of February 10, 1981, were approved as submitted. <br /> <br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Michael Harding representing the <br />.Riverside Chamber of Commerce and Bob Raven representing the Arlington Chamber of <br />:Commerce. <br /> <br />~CONSENT CALENDAR <br />~The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to <br />those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for <br />consideration with the exception of Cases VAC-21-778 and VAC-14-789 and the proposed <br />continuance relating to the draft EIR on the proposed addendum to the facilities plan <br />for the Santa Aria Regional Interceptor, all of which were removed to the Discussion <br />Calendar. <br /> <br />E~YIRO~ENTAL PROTECTION CO~{ISSION <br /> <br /> CASE EPC-24-801 - PROPOSED WIDENING OF PORTION OF COLUMBIA AVENUE <br />A communication was presented advising that, on January 28, 1981, the Commission, by a <br />!vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, determined that the proposed widening of approximately <br />~17,550 feet of Columbia Avenue, generally between the Riverside Freeway and the Atchi- <br />'son Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad, would not have a significant adverse environmental <br />]effect, Case EPC-24-801. The Comission finding was upheld by the City Council. <br /> <br />iPLA;~ING DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />[TIME EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-91-767 <br />~A communication was presented from A. C. Nejedly, Western States Realty & Development, <br /> re uestl a , <br />, q ng time extension to June 14 1981, in which to complete the conditions of <br />,app o aA under Zoning Case R-91-767 being property situated on the southeasterly side <br />~of indiana Avenue between Washington and .Madison Streets. Petition for a zone change <br />'wa granted on June 14, 1977, and this is the first request for a time extension. The <br />~Planning Department having no objection, the time extension was granted to June 14, <br />1981, retroactive to June 14, 1979. <br /> <br />~PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />~CO!?LETION - TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT ~MAIN-SPRUCE AND COLUMBIA-ORANGE, rE-80-1 - HCD PROJECT <br />,In consideration of the recommendation from the Public Works Department, the <br />installation of traffic signals at Main Street and Spruce Street and at Columbia <br />Avenue and Orange Street, Contract rE-80-1, an HCD project, by William R. Hahn, was <br />accepted as completed; and execution of the Notice of Completion was authorized. <br /> <br />COMPLETION - JURUPA AVENUE PAVEMENT PARTICIPATION WITH MP-10-789 <br />In consideration of the recommendation from the Public Works Department, construction <br />of Jurupa Avenue pavement participation with MP-10-789, on Jurupa Avenue, northerly <br />side, from 388.19 feet easterly of, to 287.29 feet easterly of Payton Avenue, by <br />Warren G. La .May, was accepted as completed; and execution of the Notice of Completion <br />was authorized. <br /> <br /> TIME EXTENSION o PARCEL MAP 206 <br />;A Time Extension Request was presented from Manuel Flores requesting a 12-month <br />,extension of time tc complete the off-site improvements required for Parcel Map 206, <br />~tocated at 2225 Arlington Avenue; together with a Memo from the Public Works Department <br />;advising that this parcel map was recorded on August 12, 1975, and this is the third <br />,request for a time extension. Off-site construction is nearly complete and on-site <br />;development is presently under construction.
