Osborne Compeny requestin~ e <br /> six-month extension of time Eo complete the off-site improvements required for <br /> Tract 7924, located on the southerly side of Le Conic Drive northwesterly of the Ga~e <br /> Canal; together with a Memo from the Public Works Department advisin~ =hat this tract <br /> ~was adopted ohM arch 10, 1981, and this is =he second request for a time extension. <br /> ~Cons=ruc=ion is partially complete. The Department has on file bonds and a~reement in a <br /> S ru <br /> ! ufficie t amoun~ =o cover the installation of all required off-site improvements; and <br /> ~recou~nends that the City Council ~rant a six-month time extension to November 24, 1982; <br /> ~whereupon, the recommnendation was approved as presented. <br /> <br /> ~PURCHASING SERVICES MANAGER <br /> <br /> ~BID NO. 3418 - COMPLETION OF TRACT 7925, PHASE I - FUND TR~S[ER <br /> ~In consideration of the recommendation from the Purchasin~ Services Manager and the <br /> Public Works Department, the bid of Duane's Landscape, in the amount of $19,140.00, was <br /> accepted for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the work of completion <br /> of Tract 7925, Phase I, between Flagstone Avenue and Camelot Road. All other bids were <br /> rejected, and the bonds submitted with said rejected bids were released from further <br /> liabili~y; the City Attorney was requested to prepare ~he necessary contract; and <br /> execution of the contract was authorized and directed upon approval by the City Attorne~ <br /> of the required performance bonds. Further, a written report was submitted from the <br /> City Manager and the Public Works Director, concurred in by the City Attorney, recom- <br /> mendin~ that the City Council (1) authorize ~he transfer of $22,000 from Account <br /> 30-575-313-07 to Account 30-575-383-07 for completion of Tract 7925; (2) award a con- <br /> tract to Duane~s Landscape; (3) authorize the Legal Department to initiate litigation <br /> for recoverin~ City funds spent in connection with the completion of Tract 7925; and <br /> <br />67-472 <br /> <br /> <br />
