Richard Simons, Director, Riverside County Parks Department, stated the purpose of <br />,the meeting: to tour the Santa Ana River Trail Corridor and consider the possibility <br />~and advisability of extending the existing bicycle path completely through the area and <br />~connec=ing it with bicycle paths in Fairmount Park and elsewhere in the City. Those <br />~pr~ent introduced themselves. Present, in addition to the Mayor and City Council, <br />,were the City Manager, Park and Recreation Director, Public Works Director, City Clerk, <br />,Members of the Park and Recreation Commission, and other members of the City Park and <br />,Recreation Department staff. Also in attendance were representatives of the Riverside <br />County Board of Supervisors, the County Parks Advisory Conmission, and the Tri-County <br />|Conservation League, and members of the County Parks Department staff. <br /> <br />Following this brief discussion, those present began the tour of the trail corridor. <br />.Mayor Brown excused himself at this time. <br /> <br />The tour terminated a= the new Jones Ranch Park at 2 p.m. Following lunch in the park, <br />~Ir.
