Motion ,X, Second X All Ayes The Chair recognized the presence ~m the audience of K~thy Parks representing the Riverside Chamber of Commerce and Bob R~ven representing the Arlington Chamber of ~Commerce. ~CONSENT CALENDAR 'The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to ~those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for ~consideration with the exception of the bid for site improvements at Bryant, L~ Sierra 'and Reid Parks, the proposed contract ~rlth Mission Inn Foundation for use of Museum ~Restoration Specialist, proposed Trautwein Annex~tion No. 54, and surplus property Motion ~X' ~disposai on Gratton Street, all of which were removed to the Discussion Calendar; ~nd Second X~ ~with Zoning Case V-46-823 scheduled for public hearing. All Ayes [BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT ZONING CASE V-108-812 - INLAND INVESTMENTS - 6408 ACORN - DENIAL ,A commumication was presented from the Board of Zoning Adjustment advising that, on ~October 18, 1982, the Board, by a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, denied the request of ~ nl I and Investments, Zoning Case V-lOg-812, for a variance to construct ~ office and .warehouse building which encroaches 15 feet into the required 1S-foot front y~rd ~setback on property situated on the southeasterly corner of Acorn Street and Central ~Avenue, located at 6408 Acorn Street, in Zone AIR. It was determined tb~t the ma=ter ~would not be set for public hearing by the City Council, and. the denial stands. ,ZONING CASE V-46-823 - T. RUTHERFORD - 3090 LARAMIE ROAD - SET FOR ~JBLIC HEARING ~A communication was presented from the Board of Zoning AdJustment advising that, on ~October 18, 1982, the Board, by a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, denied the request of sT. Rutherford, Zoning Case V-46-823, for a minor variance to legalize an existing open ~accessory structure (trellis) which encroaches approximately five feet into the re- quired five-foot setback on property situated southeasterly of the intersection of Durango and Laramie Roads, located at 3090 Laramie Road, in Zone R-l-80. It was determined that the matter would be set for public hearing by the City Council on December 7, 1982, at 1:30 p.m. CITY PLANNING COMMISSION ZONING CASE C-23-g12 - CITY OF RIVERSIDE - JANET GOESKE CENTER - 5257 SIERRA AVENUE A coamun~ca~on was presented from the Clty Planning Comz~88ion advising that, on June 3, 1982, the Coa=mission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to conditions the proposed conditional use permit of the City of Riverside, Zoning Case C-23-812, to establish, operate and maintain a senior citizens and handicapped center, the Janet Goeske Center, located at 5257 Sierra Avenue, situated on the northeast corner of Streeter and Sierra Avenues, in Zone R-1-65. The City Council has previously determined that this project would not h~ve a significant adverse effect on the envi- ronment under Case EPC-50-790. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public hearing. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION COMMISSION ~CASE EPC-12-823 - PROPOSED EXTENSION OF FIFTEENTH STREET ~A communication was presented from the Environmental Protection Commission advising ~that, on October 27, 1982, the Con~a~ssion considered the proposed extension of 68-159
