<br /> The following items were approved by one motion affirndng the actions appropriate to
<br /> those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for
<br /> consideration, with the exception of the County of Riverside Revised General Plan,
<br /> Zoning Case V-141-812, swimming pool pump program, and fund transfer request for Motion
<br /> Pierce Street at La Sierra College entrance, all of which were removed to the Second
<br /> Discussion Calendar. All Ayes

<br /> ZONING CASE MP-9-812 - BEAR MEDICAL SYSTEMS - 2085 RUSTIN AVENUE
<br /> A communication was presented from the City Planning Conunission advising that, on
<br /> June 17, 1982, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br /> conditions the request of Bear Medical Systems, Zoning Case MP-9-812, to construct an
<br /> industrial building and incidental parking on approximately 15 acres of vacant land
<br /> located at 2085 Rustin Avenue, situated on the west side of Rustin Avenue northerly of
<br /> ]Spruce Street, in Zone MP; and determined that the proposal would not have a signifi-

<br /> ~ t adverse environmental effect. It was determined that the matter would not be set
<br /> 'for review by the City Council.

<br /> ~for a revised planned residential development to add covered parking, provide patios
<br /> wh h will encroach into required setbacks, delete portions of required walls, and
<br /> ~provide common open space not meeting the dimensional requirements of the Code for the
<br /> ~15 acres of prin~rily vacant land situated on the southeasterly side of Magnolia
<br /> ~Avenue and northeasterly side of Monroe Street in Zone R-1-65, tentatively approved

<br /> SANTA ANA WATERSHED PROJECT AUTHORITY - PROPOSED EIR ON REACHES IV-D AND IV-E OF THE
<br /> SANTA ANA REGIONAL INTERCEPTOR
<br /> A communication was presented from the Environmental Protection Commission advising
<br /> that, on 3uly 14, 1982, the Commission considered the request of the Santa Ana Water-
<br /> shed Project Authority for input regarding the scope of work for an Environmental
<br /> Impact Report on the proposed construction of Reaches IV-D and IV-E of the Santa Ana
<br /> Regional Interceptor and, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, adopted staff's reconunendation
<br /> for concurrence with the list of topics to be addressed in the EIR which includes soil
<br /> disruption and erosion, seismic hazards, ocean discharge of treated effluent, ground-
<br /> ~water quality and quantity, noise, dairy land conversion, temporary municipal waste-
<br /> water discharge, traffic, and archaeological resources. The recommendation was

<br /> ~approved by the City Council, and staff was authorized to forward the y s
<br /> ~recommendation on this matter to SAWPA.
