Motion X~ <br />' Second ~X~ <br /> All Ayes <br /> <br />,The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of }~arge Seymour representing the <br />,Riverside Chamber of Commerce, Bob Schoeffler representing the .Magnolia Center Chamber <br />,of Commerce and Dick Frick representing the Riverside Downtown Association. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> The following items were approved by one motion affir~Lng the actions appropriate to <br /> those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for <br /> consideration, with the exception of the report relative to recruitment for the Private Motion ~X[ <br /> Industry Council which was removed to the Discussion Calendar, and with Councilman Second ~X~ <br /> Shepard voting "No" on the amendment to agreement with MKGK, Inc. All Ayes <br /> <br /> CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE C-23-656 (REVISED) - CHURCH OF RELIGIOUS SCIENCE - 3891 RIDGE ROAD <br /> A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on <br /> March 17, 1983, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to <br /> conditions the request of Church of Religious Science, Zoning Caae C-23-656 (Revised), <br /> for a revised conditiorml use permit to expand an existing social hall and to provide <br /> additional church classrooms on property situated on the easterly corner of Fairmount <br /> Boulevard and Ridge Road, located at 3891 Ridge Road, in Zone R-1-65; and determined <br /> that the proposal would not have a significant adverse environmental effect. It was <br /> determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public hearing. <br /> <br />ZONING CASE C-23-789 (REVISED) - THE MISSIONARY CHURCH WESTERN DISTRICT - HEDRICK <br />NORTHERLY OF HOLE <br />iA communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on <br />, arch 17, 1983, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 1 no, approved subject to <br />conditions the request of The Missionary Church Western District, Zoning Case C-23-789 <br />(Revised), for a revised conditional use permit to establish, operate and maintain a <br />ichurch utilizing a commercial coach for a temporary sanctuary and a request for a <br />,retroactive time extension for the conditional use permit on approximately two acres <br />iof vacant land located in the 4600 block of Hedrick Avenue, situated on the northwest- <br />ierly side of Hedrick Avenue northerly of Hole Avenue, in Zone R-1-65; and determined <br />ithat the proposal would not have a significant adverse environmental effect. It was <br />idetermined that the City Council would not set the matter for public hearing. <br /> <br /> ,ZONING CASE C-13-812 (REVISED) - E. L. YEAGER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. - WLY. OF <br /> ,EXISTING WLY. TERMINUS OF EASTRIDGE <br /> A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission, advising that, on <br /> b~rch 17, 1983, the Commission considered the proposed revised conditional use permit <br /> of E. L. Yeager Construction Company, Inc., Zoning Case C-13-812 (Revised), to expand <br /> an existing surface mining operation by including an additional 40 vacant acres situ- <br /> ated appro×imately 0.65 mile westerly of the existing westerly terminus of Eastridge <br /> Avenue (formerly Eucalyptus Avenue) in Zone RA; and, by a vote of 6 ayes to 2 noes and <br /> ~1 abstention, approved the revised conditional use permit for 15 acres subject to <br /> conditions; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse <br /> environmental effect. It was determined that the City Council would not set the <br /> matter for public hearing. <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE C-26-823 - R. BRO~SBERGER - 3880-3882 CHICAGO AVENUE <br /> ~A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on , <br /> ~arch 17, 1983, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 1 no, approved subject to <br /> ,conditions the request of R.
