<br /> PRESENTATION
<br /> Mayor Brown presented a Proclamation to the Poly High School Running Club, as well as
<br /> individual Certificates of Appreciation to the participants, for making a marathon
<br /> relay run from the banks of the Colorado River at Blythe to the Pacific Ocean at
<br /> Huntington Beach, raising $1,200 in pledges for the benefit of the Riverside Youth
<br /> Center.

<br /> CONSENT CALENDAR
<br /> The following items were approved b~ one motion affirming the actions appropriate to
<br /> those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for
<br /> consideration with the exception of Zoning Case V-100-823, the report on Historic
<br /> Landmark No. 40 (Seventh Street), salary range for Chief of Police clasa, engineer's
<br /> contract for SCADA Phase II, renewal of contract with Edward S. Babcock & Sons, Time
<br /> Extension Request for Zoning Case R-68-634, and the two reports from the Citizens
<br /> :Transportation Advisory Committee regarding Bike-to-Work Day and attendance by a CTAC Motion
<br /> :member at the City Council Transportation Committee meetings, all of which were removed Second

<br /> ~February 3, 1983, the Commission, by a vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br /> ,conditions the request of Riverside Country Club Mobile Home Park, etal., Zoning Case

<br /> C 10 701 (Revised), for a revised conditional use permit to utilize approximately
<br /> 3/4 acre of land previously reserved for flood control purposes to add two mobile home
<br /> :spaces within an existing mobile home park located at 9391 California Avenue, situated
<br /> 'on the northwesterly side of California Avenue northeasterly of Van Buren Boulevard,
<br /> 'in Zone R-1-65; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse
<br /> :environmental effect. It was determined that the City Council would not set the
<br /> ,~natter for public hearing.

<br /> :A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br /> :February 3, 1983, the Commission considered the request of Park Avenue Baptist Church,
<br /> :Zoning Case C-32-767 (Revised), for a revised conditional use permit to establish,
<br /> :operate and maintain a child care center for up to 100 children, ages 2-5 years,
<br /> ~ithin an existing church facility located at 1912 Pennsylvania Avenue, on
<br /> :approximately 4.5 acres situated on the southwest corner of Pennsylvania and Ottawa
