Motion ~X~ , Second :X: ~ All Ayes ~The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Bobble Mays representing the ~Riverside Chamber of Commerce and John Guthrie representing the Axlington Chamber of iCONSENT CALENDAR ~The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to Motion X: ~those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for Second ~X~ ~consideration. All Ayes ~CITY PLANNING COMMISSION ZONING CASE C-27-667 (REVISED) - CALIFORNIA BAPTIST COLLEGE - 8432 MAGNOLIA AVENUE ~A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission a~vising that, on ~January 20, 1983, the Commission, by a vote of 8 aye~ to 0 noes, approved subject to ~conditions the request of the California Baptist College, Zoning Case C-27-667 (Re- ~vised), for a revised conditional use permit to locate a commercial coach adjacent to ~the gym, to be utilized by the college for academic purposes, located on college ~property at 8432 Magnolia Avenue, approximately 1,700 feet southeasterly of Magnolia ~Avenue, in Zone R-1-65; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant ~adverse environmental effect. It was determined that the City Council would not set ~the matter for public hearing. ]ZONING CASE C-22-701 (REVISED) - RIVERSIDE CITY COLLEGE - SELY. CORNER CRIDGE AND ~OLIVEWOOD ~A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on ~January 20, 1983, the Commission, by a vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to ~conditions the request of Riverside City College, Zoning Case C-22-701 (Revised), for ~a revised conditional use permit to establish and maintain a surface parking lot on ~approximately 3/4 acre of vacant land located on the southeasterly corner of Cridge ~Street and Olivewood Avenue in Zone R-1-65; and determined that the proposal would not ~have a significant adverse environmental effect. It was determined that the City ,Council would not set the matter for public hearing. ,ZONING CASE C-19-823 - CAI~ DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION - JACKSON N'w'LY. OF AUDREY A conmunication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on January 20, 1983, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 1 no, approved subject conditions the request of Calmark Development Corporation, Zoning Case C-19-823, for a conditional use permit to establish a 145-unit senior citizen apartment project con- sisting of 108 one-bedroom and 38 two-bedroom units, off-street parking and recrea=ion building on approximately four acres of vacant land located in the 4700 block of Jackson Street, situated on the southwesterly side of Jackson Street northwesterly of Audrey Street, in Zones R-3-30 and R-1-65; and determined that the proposal would not have a ~tgnificant adverse environmental effect. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public hearing. PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TRACT 8716-2 APPROVAL - NELY. CORNER LINCOLN AND GIBSON ~The Faithful Performance Bond of Ayres Riverside, as principal, and The American ~Insurance Company, as surety, in the amount of $68,400; together with the Labor and ~Materialmen Bond, executed by the principal and surety as listed above, in the amount ~of $34,200; together with their Agreement guaranteeing the completion of streets, ~curbs, gutters and all other improvements described on the Final Map of Tract 8716-2, ~located on the northeasterly corner of Lincoln Avenue and Gibson Street, were approved land accepted. 68-287
