Phil Morgan, Bethel ~ristian Cen~er. <br /> ~e Fledge of Allegiance was Siren to the Flag. <br /> <br /> :MI~TES <br /> ~The Minutes of the Meeting of February 1, 1983, were approved as sub~tted. .X, <br /> <br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Tom Burkerr representing the <br />Arlington Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to <br />those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for <br />consideration, with the exception of the Victoria Avenue Environmental Impact Report <br />which was removed to the Discussion Calendar, and with Councilwoman Frizzel voting <br />~"No" on Zoning Case C-20-823. <br /> <br />~CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />~CASE C0C-10-823 - G. CULLEN - NELY. SIDE NORWOOD NLY. OF GRAMERCY <br />~A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on <br />~January 20, 1983, the Commission, by a vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to <br />=conditions the request of G. Cullen, Case C0C-10-823, for a certificate of compliance <br />=to legalize one vacant lot approximately one acre in area which has substandard area, <br />~due to slope in excess of 15 percent which requires two acres minimum lot area, situ- <br />~ated on the northeasterly side of Norwood Avenue northerly of Gramercy Place, located <br />~in the 5400 block of Norwood Avenue, in Zone RC. It was determined that the City <br />~Council would not set the matter for discussion. <br /> <br />~ZONING CASE C-20-823 - REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY - ORANGE. MAIN, FIFTH AND SIXT~ <br />~A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on <br />~January 20, 1983, the Commission, by a vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to <br />~conditions the request of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside, Zoning <br />~Case C-20-823, for a conditional use permit to establish 125 residential condominium <br />~units together with off-street parking and retail, office or recreational facilities <br />i(Orange Tree Plaza Development) within the block bounded by Orange, Main, Fifth and <br />~Sixth Streets, in Zones P, 0 and C-3, proposed for Zone C-3. The environmental find- <br />~ings were made by the City Council on November 16, 1982, and the negative declaration <br />,was filed at that time. It was determined that the City Council would not set the <br />,matter for public hearing. <br /> <br />,PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> TIME EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-37-789 <br /> A cormnunication was presented from Howard P. Connelly, Golden Valley Realty, requesting <br /> a one-year time extension from December 12, 1982, in which to complete the conditions <br /> of approval under Zoning Case R-37-789, being the lot situated on the southwesterly <br /> side of School Circle northwesterly of Magnolia Avenue, located at 6691 School Circle. <br /> Petition for a zone change was granted on December 12, 1978, and this is the third <br /> request for a time extension. The time extension was granted to December 12, 1983, <br /> retroactive to December 12, 1982, as requested. <br /> <br /> TIME EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-65-790 <br />A communication was presented from Donald W. Bohr, Bohr & Mumper Realtors, requesting <br />~a one-year time extension from March 25, 1983, in which to complete the conditions of <br />~approval under Zoning Case R-65-790, being approximately .55 acre of land located at <br />~9939 Magnolia Avenue. Petition for a zone change was granted on March 25, 1980, and <br />~this is the second request for a time extension.
