CITY PLANNING CONHISSION CASE GP-3-845 - COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE - 3525 PRESLEY A conmuntcatton was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on [July 19, 1984, the Conmission (1) determined that the proposed County of Riverside ~acquisition and use of the property at 3525 Presley Avenue for an alcohol detoxi- ~fication center 'is consistent with the City's General Plan; and (2) forwarded these :findings and recomendations to the City Council for its review and in turn to the |County of Everside for its consideration. The City Council upheld the Conmdssion's [recomendations, and authorized the staff to forward these findings to the Riverside County Board of Supervisors for their consideration. {CASE GP-5-845 - COUNTY OF RivZ~SIDE - SOUTH~STERLY CORNER LINDEN AND CRANFORD ~A communication was presented from the City Planning Comission advising that, on }July 19, 1984, the Commission (1) determined that the proposed County of Riverside |Hedical Clinic and parking facilities at the southwesterly comer of Linden Street Zand Cranford Avenue is consistent with the City's General Plan; (2) reco~nended that Zthe County submit landscaping and irrigation plans for the future off-street parking ~lot to the City Design Review Board for review and approval; (3) strongly encouraSed {the County to work with the Riverside Transit Agency to provide more direct bus ~service to the property concurrent with the opening of the medical clinic; and ~(4) forwarded these findings and recowaendations to the City Council for its review ~and, in turn, to the County Board of Supervisors for their consideration. The City {Council upheld the Commission's recommendations, and authorized the staff to forward [this information to the Riverside County Board of Supervisors for their consideration. , 70-26
