The hearing bad been continued from June 19, 198~, to allow <br /> ~time for Councilwoman Menafield and appropriate staff members to meet with. the propo- <br /> ~ments and opponents of the vacation. Councilwoman Mansfield advised that, following a <br /> ~ei~hborhood maettn~, the adjacent property owners realize that the vacation cannot be <br /> ,_, [finalized unless they sign the appropriate Hold Harmless documents. No writ=on or oral <br /> · ~rotests were presented. Following a brief discussion, the public hearing was offi- <br /> ~ [cially closed. The vacation was approved subject to the recounended conditions listed <br /> ~ [in full in the City Council minutes of June 19, 1984, relatinS to this matter; it was <br /> C [determined that the proposed vacation would not have a significant adverse environmental <br /> ca o ~effecE; and the staff report and the environmental assessmen= were adopted as findings. <br /> ~ '~ ~Resolution No. 15415 of the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, Nakin~ <br /> ~ ~ {lts Findings and Determinations in the Matter of Resolution of Intention No. 15380; and <br /> ~ U ~Meking Its Order Vacating an Alley Between 3771 and 3783 Hoover Street, Southeasterly <br /> o > ~of Magnolia Avenue, was presented; and the title having been read, and further readin~ <br /> o {waived by the Irnant~ous consent of Councilmembers present, was adopted; and the City Motion :X:' <br /> I ca :Clerk was instructed that the resolution of vacation is not to be recorded until the Second <br /> u~ v~ :conditions have been satisfied. All Ayes <br /> <br /> {FURTHER HEARING - ZONING CASE R-~7-83~ - 4600 BLOCK VAN BUREN BOULEVARD - REZONING - <br /> iOEDINANCK INTRODUCED <br /> ~3:00 P.H.--Further hearing was called on the proposal of Paul Buns, Zoning Case <br /> ~R-~7-834, to place appro~t-mtely 9.3 vacant acres of land situated on the west side of <br /> :Van Buren Boulevard approximately 360 feet southerly of ~ells Avenue, being in the <br /> :4600 block of Van Buren Boulevard, in Zone R-3 and remove the same from Zones C-2 and <br /> ~R-1-65; with the City Council to also consider supplementing =he requested zoning with <br /> :Zone S. The hearin~ had been continued from June 5 and June 19, 198~, to allow time <br /> :for Councilman Digati and representatives of the Planning Department staff to meet with <br /> [area residents and the developer. Councilman Digati announced that he felt a cornpro- , <br /> amiss had been reached as a result of meetings with area residents and the developer. <br /> !The Planning Director reco~nended the addition of a Supplemental Condition of approval <br /> <br />69-558 <br /> <br /> <br />
