<br /> ~ yor Pro Tempore Bowers, in the absence of Mayor Brown, called the meeting to order,
<br /> ,and the City Council continued its consideration of the Proposed Budget for the City of
<br /> :Riverside for the Fiscal Year 1984-85, as prepared and submitted by the City Manager.
<br />
<br /> ,POLICE DEPARTMENT
<br /> The Police Chief presented the proposed budget for the Police Department, and answered
<br /> questions from ~he City Council. Following discussion, the City Council gave tentative Motion ,,X;
<br /> approval to the Police Department budget as presented on pages 155 through 231 of the Second :X',
<br /> Budget. All Ayes '
<br />
<br /> PUBLIC UTILITIES DEPARTMENT ,
<br /> The Public Utilities Department budget was presented by the Public Utilities Director. Motion :X: '
<br /> Following discussion, tentative approval was given the Public Utilities Department Second
<br /> budget on pages 423 through 505 of the Budget. All Ayes
<br />
<br /> CLOSED SESSION
<br /> The Members of the City Council then held a closed session to consider threatened
<br /> ~litigation.
<br />
<br /> ~ADJOURNMENT
<br /> ~At 4:55 p.m., upon completion of the closed session, Mayor Pro Tempore Bowers declared
<br /> ~the City Council adjourned to 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 1984, in the Council Board
<br /> Room. ,,
