<br />Mayor Bro~ra called upon Ron Tobey, Chaiman of the Museum Board, who introduced William
<br />Dougall, the new Historic Resources Director.

<br />CONSENT CALENDAR
<br />The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to
<br />those items listed.on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for
<br />consideration, with the exception of Zoning Case V-133-801 and the report regarding the
<br />Humane Society policies and procedures, both of which were removed to the Discussion
<br />Calendar.

<br />CITY PLANNING COMMISSION

<br />ZONING CASE MP-3-778 (REVISED) - FLEXSTEEL INDUSTRIES, INC. - 7227 CENTRA~ AVENUE
<br />:A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />~February 23, 1984, the Commission, by a vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br />~conditions the request of Flexsteel Industries, Inc., Zoning Case MP-3-778 (Revised),
<br />~to amend an approved plot plan to add an approximately l12,000-square-foot building
<br />~addi~ion and incidental parking to an existing industrial facility on an approximately
<br />il6. l-acre site located on the northeast comer of Central Avenue and Acorn Street,
<br />,being at 7227 Central Avenue, in Zone MP; and determined that the proposal would not
<br />have a significant adverse environmental effect. It was determined that the City
<br />Council would not set the matter for public hearing.

<br />ZONING CASE PRI)-2-823 (REVISED) - I.S. PROPERTIES - C~ON CREST AND LINDEN
<br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />February 23, 1984, the Co~tssion, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br />conditions the request of I.S. Properties, Zoning Case PRD-2-823 (Revised), to estab-
<br />lish a planned residential development consisting of 220 dwelling units (18 efficiency,
<br />72 one-bedroom and 130 two-bedroom) with private and common open space and off-street
<br />parking on approximately nine acres of vacant land situated on the northwest corner o£
<br />Canyon Crest Drive and Linden Street in Zone R-3; and determined ~hat the proposal
<br />would not have a significant adverse environmental effect. This proposal is a total
<br />revision of a previously-approved plan. It was determined that the City Council would
<br />not set the matter for public hearing.

<br />BOARD OF ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS AND ZONING ADJUSTMENT
<br />
<br />ZONING CASE V-93-834 - R. WIEST - 11993-95 MAGNOLIA AVENUE
<br />~A communication was presented from the Board of Administrative Appeals and Zoning
<br />[Adjustment advising that, on February 27, 1984, the Board, by a vote of 8 ayes to
<br />~0 noes, approved subject to conditions the request of R. Wiest, Zoning Case
<br />~V-93-834, for a variance to (A) provide parkins spaces within the 20-foot front yard
<br />~setback; and (B) delete =he required landscaping within the same setback area where
<br />parking is provided, on property situated on ~ne northwest side of Magnolia Avenue
<br />~southwesterly of Pierce Street, being at 11993-95 Magnolia Avenue, in Zone M-l; and
<br />~determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse environmental effect.
