Motion ~X~ <br /> Second <br /> All Ayes <br /> <br /> The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of John Guthrie representing the <br /> R/verside Chamber of Commerce, Don Pulsifer representing the Arlington Chamber of <br /> Con~nerce, Ken Klimpel representing the La Sierra Chamber of Commerce and Ray Miller <br /> representing the Riverside Downtown Association. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to <br />those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for <br />consideration, with the exception of the multifau~ly rental housing bonds for Lincoln <br />~Banbury project, legislative at=ion regarding industrial development bonds and the pro- Motion ~X~ <br />~posed loan to the Redevelopment Agency, all of which were removed to the Discussion Second ~X~ <br />~Calendar. All Ayes <br />!BOARD OF ADMiNISTrATIVE 'APPmALS ~m ZONING ADJUSTMENT <br />~ZONING CASE V-92-834 - I. KALINCSAK - 3688 VAN BUREN BOULEVARD <br />~A com~nunication was presented from the Board of Administrative Appeals and Zoning <br />~A~Justment advising that, on February 27, 1984, the Board, by a vote of 7 ayes to <br />~1 no, contrary =o the Planning Departmsnt's recommendation, approved subject to condi- <br />~tions the request of I. Ralincsak, Zoning Case V-92-834, for a variance to install an <br />~approximately 48-square-foot, 20-foot-high double-faced freestanding sign identifying <br />~three tenants where one 50-square-foot, 25-foot-high double-faced freestanding sign <br />[identifying the name of the shopping center or one shopping center tenant is permitted, <br />~on property situated on the northwest side of Van Buren Boulevard southeasterly of <br /> Magnolia Avenue, being at 3688 Van Buren Boulevard, in Zone C-2. It was determined <br /> that the City Council would not set the matter for public hearing. <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE V-95-834 - A. AND T. MiLAZZO - 1730 MONROE STREET <br /> A communication was presented from the Board of Administrative Appeals and Zoning <br /> Adjustment advising that, on February 27, 1984, the Board, by a vote of 7 ayes to <br /> 0 noes, approved subject to conditions the request of A. and T. Milazzo, Zoning Case <br /> V-95-834, for a variance to construct a residence on a vacant parcel containing <br /> 2.43 acres of land where 5 acres is required on property situated on the southwest <br /> side of Monroe Street southeasterly of the Cage Canal and Dufferin Avenue, being at <br /> 1730 Monroe Street, in Zone RA-5. It was determined that the City Council would not <br /> set the manner for public hearing. <br /> <br /> PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />~TIME EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-61-767 <br />~A communication was presented from John Jordan, Albert A. Webb Associates, on behalf <br />|of P & J Development Company, requesting a one-year time extension from April 12, <br />~1984, in which to complete the conditions of approval under Zoning Case R-61-767, <br />~relating to land situated between Pierce and Buchanan Streets southerly of Collett <br />~Avenue (extended). Petition for a zone change was granted on April 12, 1977; on <br />~October 11, 1983, a zoning case split was approved to allow Tract 17216 to be recorded <br />~in phases, and a portion of the zoning case was adopted; and this is the sixth request <br />~for a time extension. The time extension was granted to April 12, 1985, for the <br /> remaining portion of the zoning case. <br />~TIME EXTENSION ON CO~ITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-34-812 <br />~A communication was presented from Barbara Smeltzer, J. F.
