<br /> COUNCILM~MBERS' ABSENCE
<br /> M~yor Brown announced that Councilman Peterson is absent because he ~s attending the
<br /> National League of Cities meeting in Washington, D.C., and that Councilwom~n Mansfield
<br /> is abeent becauee of out-of-town business commitments.

<br /> CONSENT CALENDA~
<br /> The following item~ were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to
<br /> ~those items listed on the Conaent Calendar ~nd as submitted to the City Co,mcil for
<br /> ~consideration, with the exception of the progress report on implemen~ation of Landmark
<br /> ~#40 objectives, the proposed co-generation pro~ect and the proposed public hearing on Motion ~X~
<br /> ~sale and development of property by the Redevelopment Agency ~ the AIrport Industrial Second ~X~
<br /> ~edevelopment Project, all of which were removed to the Discussion Calendar. All Ayes

<br /> ~ZONING CASE C-29-834 - CITY OF RIVERSIDE - 1011 ORANGE STREET
<br /> ~A co~mu~c~tion was presented from the City Planning Commission advises that, on
<br /> |February 9, 1984, the Commiesion, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br /> ~condi~ions the request of the City of Rivereide, Zoning Case C-29-834, for a condi-
<br /> ~tional uee permit to modify an existing approximately 128-acre golf course facillty by
<br /> ~adding a storage building and driving ramge fencing adjacent to the street approxi-
<br /> m~tely 25 feet high on property located at 1011 Orange Street, situated on the north-
<br /> ewest side of Orange Street, the north side of Columbia Avenue and the northeast side
<br /> ~of North Main Street, in Zones R-1-65, 0 and WC; and determined that the proposal
<br /> ewould not have a significant adverse environmental effect. It was determined that the
<br /> City Council would not set the matter for public hearing.

<br /> CASE~-3-834 - FORD ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION COP~P. - P~d~MYRITAAND COLD~MBIA,
<br /> WESTERLY OF GAGE CANAL
<br /> A communication was preeented from the City Planning Commiseion advising that, on
<br /> February 9, 1984, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br /> conditions the request of Ford Engineering and Construction Corporation, Case
<br /> MP-3-834, to establish an industrial park consisting of six buildings and incidental
<br /> ~parking on the site which is presently a citrus grove situated between Palmyrita and
<br /> ~Columbia Avenues, westerly of the Gage Canal and the Riverside City limits, in Zone MP;
<br /> ~and detera~Lned that the proposal would not have a significant adverse environmental
<br /> ~effect. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public
<br /> hearing.

<br /> ~ZONING CASE PRD-15-834 - DALE SEXTON - 6500 BLOCK ARLINGTON, WESTERLY OF TEXAS
<br /> ~A communication was presented from the City Planning Coma~Lssion advising that, on
<br /> ~February 9, 1984, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br /> ~conditions the request of Dale Sexton, Zoning Case PRD-15-834, to establish a planned
<br /> ~residential development consisting of 96 units (40 one-bedroom, 56 two-bedroom) with
<br /> parking and private and common open space on approximately 5.67 acres of vacant land
<br /> ~situated on the south side of Arlington Avenue in the 6500 block, westerly of Texas
<br /> Avenue, in Zones R-3 and R-3-R; and determined that ~he proposal would not have a
<br /> ~significant adverse environmental effect. It was determined that the City Council
<br /> ~would not set the matter for public hearing.
