<br /> The Minutes of the Meetings of June 7, 11, 12 and 13, 1985, were approved as
<br /> submitted.
<br />
<br />'!The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Richard Weizenegger representing
<br />~the Riverside Chamber of Co~erce, Bob Stewart representing the Magnolia Center
<br />:Chamber of Comerce, Bob Lancaster representing the Riverside Downtown Association and
<br />~Lee Lombard representing the University-Canyon Crest Chamber of Commerce.
<br />
<br />~Mayor Pro Tempore Peterson announced that Mayor Brown is absent as he is attending the
<br />~United States Conference of Mayors.

<br />~CONSENT CALENDAR
<br />~The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to
<br />ithose items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for
<br />iconsideration except for the proposed Carrier Corporation contract extension, which
<br />,was removed to the Discussion Calendar.

<br /> ZONING CASE C-31-845 - P. A. ULI - 1738 GRATTON STREET - GRANNY FLAT
<br /> A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />May 23, 1985, the Commission, by a vote of 4 ayes to I no, approved subject to condi-
<br />tions the request of P. A. Uli, Zoning Case C-31-845, for a conditional use permit to
<br />establish an auxiliary dwelling unit (granny flat) on approximately 18.8 acres of
<br />land which is developed with a residence, located at 1738 Gratton Street, situated on
<br />the southwest side of Gratton Street southerly of Hermosa Drive, in Zone RA-5; and
<br />determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse environmental
<br />;effect. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public
<br />hearing.

<br />~ZONING CASE C-35-845 - A. M. LIU - 6770 MAGNOLIA AVENUE
<br />iA communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />,May 23, 1985, the Commission, contrary to the Planning Department's recommendation
<br />and by a vote of 5 ayes to 2 noes, approved subject to conditions the request of
<br />A. M. Liu, Zoning Case C-35-845, for a conditional use permit to establish a church
<br />and related parking on approximately 0.5 acre of land developed with a commercial
<br />building and incidental parking, located at 6770 Magnolia Avenue, situated on the
<br />southeasterly side of Magnolia Avenue northeasterly of Nelson Street, in Zone C-3;
<br />and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse effect on the
<br />environment. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for
<br />~public hearing.

<br />}ZONING CASE C-37-845 ~ R. J. BUDEL - 3211 VAN BUREN BOULEVARD
<br />~A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />~May 23, 1985, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br />~conditions the request of R. J. Budel, Zoning Case C-37-845, for a conditional use
<br />~permit to establish an impound yard on approximately one acre of land developed with
<br />~commercial buildings, located at 3211 Van Buren Boulevard, situated on the northeast-
<br />~erly side of Van Buren Boulevard southeasterly of Indiana Avenue, in Zone M-l; and
<br />determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse effect on the
<br />~environment. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for
<br />~public hearing.
