All Ayes <br /> <br /> CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> , <br /> <br /> CASE VAC-15-845 - PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY CONNECTING CHARTER OAK WITH VA/q BUREN <br /> ;A commtnlication was presented from the City Plannins Co-wission advising that, on <br /> ~May 9, 1985, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes ~o 0 noes, approved subject to <br /> ~conditions the vacation of an approximately seven-foot-long, four-foot-wide pedestrian <br /> ~walbay connecting Charter Oak Lane with Van Burst Boulevard in Zone R-1-65, Case <br /> ~VAC-15-845. The Public Works Department was requested to furnish the necessary legal <br /> idescription required in connection with the proposed vacation, and the City Attorney <br /> ,was authorized to prepare the appropriate resolution for City Council consideration <br /> ,to set the matter for public hearins. <br /> <br /> ,CASE VAC-16-845 - PORTION OF FISCHER BETWEEN BOX SPRINGS AND INTERSTATE 215 <br /> A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advisins that, on <br /> May 9, 1985, the Counnission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to <br /> conditions the request of T & S Development for vacation of an approximately 100- <br /> foot-wide by 600-foot-long portion of Fischer Road, located between Box Springs <br /> Boulevard and Interstate 215, Case VAC-16-845. The Public Works Department was <br /> requested to furnish the necessary legal description required in connection with the <br /> proposed vacation, and the City Attorney was authorized to prepare the appropriate <br /> resolution for City Council consideration to set the matter for public hearing. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS AND ZONING ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE V-42-701 (REVISED) - SHAUGHNESSY PROPERTIES CORP. - 1260 UNIVERSITY AVENUE <br /> ;A communication was presented from the Board of Administrative Appeals and Zonins <br /> ;Adjustment advising that, on May 6, 1985, the Board, contrary in part to the Plannins <br /> Department's recommendation and by a vote of 6 ayes to 1 no, approved subject to <br /> conditions the request of ShauShnessy Properties Corp., Zonins Case V-42-701 (Re- <br /> ;vised), for the following revised variance to erect an off-site freestanding identifi- <br /> cation sign to serve the property at 1260 University Avenue, situated on the south <br /> side of University Avenue and the east side of Iowa Avenue, in Zone C-2: to permit a <br /> 130-square-foot off-site freestanding identification sign, 43 feet in overall height, <br /> ,where no off-site sign is permitted.
