Motion X', <br /> Second ', X: <br /> All Ayes <br /> <br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Jerry Downey representing the <br />Riverside Chamber of Commerce, Viktor Christensen representing the La Sierra Chamber <br />of Commerce, Melanie Hamilton representing the Magnolia Center Chamber of Commerce, <br />John Beal representing the Riverside Donton Association and Del Brixey represent- <br />ing the University-Canyon Crest Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to Motion ',X~ <br />those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for Second '~X~ <br />consideration. All Ayes <br /> <br />CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />ZONING CASE PRD-6-856 - M. SEIR~I - 3200 BLOCK I~ SIERRA <br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on <br />September 5, 1985, the Commission, by a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject <br />to conditions the request of M. Seirafi, Zoning Case PRD-6-856, to establish a 216- <br />unit planned residential development (104 one-bedroom, 112 two-bedroom) together <br />with parking and private and common open space on approximately ten vacant acres of <br />land situated on the southwesterly side of La Sierra Avenue southeasterly of Indiana <br />Avenue, being in the 3200 block of La Sierra Avenue, in Zone R-1-65, tentative Zones <br />R-3 and R-3-S-1; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant ad- <br />verse effect on the environment. It was determined that the City Council would not <br />set the matter for public hearing. <br /> <br />CASE VAC-5-856 - PORTION OF BANCROFT NORTHWESTERLY OF TERMINATION OF CONWAY <br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on <br />September 19, 1985, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject <br />to conditions the request of Dale Sexton, et al., Case VAC-5-856, for vacation of an <br />approximately 33-foot-wide by llO-foot-long portion of Bancroft Street situated <br />northwesterly of the termination of Conway Drive. The Public Works Department was <br />requested to furnish the necessary legal description required in connection ~ith the <br />proposed vacation, and the City Attorney was authorized to prepare the appropriate <br />resolution for City Council consideration to set the matter for public hearing. <br /> <br />BOAI~D OF ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS AND ZONING ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />ZONING CASE V-37-856 - F. J. BURGESS - SE. TERMINUS RUSSELL ~ NORTH SIDE SPRUCE <br />A communication was presented from the Board of Administrative Appeals and Zoning <br />Adjustment advising that, on September 4, 1985, the Board, by a vote of 6 ayes to <br />0 noes, approved subject to conditions the request of F. J. Burgess, Zoning Case <br />V-37-856, for the following variance to construct an industrial building at the <br />southeast terminus of Russell Street and north side of Spruce Street, westerly of <br />the Riverside (91) Freeway, in Zone M-l: to construct an industrial building which <br />encroaches up to 20 feet into the required 20-foot front yard setback along Spruce <br />Street; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse effect <br />on the environment. It was determined that the City Council would not set the mat- <br />ter for public hearing. <br /> <br />71-158 <br /> <br /> <br />
