<br />The Minutes of the Meeting of September 3, 1985, were approved as submitted.
<br />
<br />'The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Hal Austin representing the
<br />'Riverside Chamber of Commerce, Rot Raven representing the Arlington Chamber of Com-
<br />~merce, Bill Onink representing the La Sierra Chamber of Commerce, Bob Bourrioux
<br /> representing the Magnolia Center Chamber of Commerce and Lee Lombard representing
<br /> the Universi.ty-Canyon Crest Chamber of Commerce.

<br />Councilman Shepard entered at this time.

<br />CONSENT CALENDAR
<br />The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate
<br />to those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council
<br />for consideration, with the exception of Zoning Case V-27-856 which was removed to
<br />the Discussion Calendar.

<br />ZONING CASE C-22-689 (EEVISED) - CITY OF RIVERSIDE - 8193 M~3~NOLIA AVENUE
<br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />August 22, 1985, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 1 no, approved subject to
<br />conditions the request of the City of Riverside, Zoning Case C-22-689 (Revised),
<br />for a revised conditional use permit to construct a 4-1/2- to 7-1/2-foot-high orna-
<br />mental fence within the public right-of-way where no fence is permitted on approxl-
<br />mately .87 acre of land at 8193 Magnolia Avenue, developed with the Heritage House
<br />Landmark No. 5, situated on the northwesterly side of Magnolia Avenue easterly of
<br />Adams Street, in Zone R-1-65. If located outside the public right-of-way, amaximam
<br />4-foot-high fence would be permitted. It was determined that the matter would not
<br />be set for public hearing by the City Council.

<br />A communication wag presented from the City Planning Commlss~on advising that, on
<br />August ZZ~ 1985, the Commission, by a vote of 5 ayes ~o Z noes, approved subject to.
<br />conditions the request of the City of Riverside, Case PMW-15-856, to waive the fil-
<br />ing of a parcel map to adjust the lot lines between two parcels of land at
<br />11919 Gramstry Place, one developed with a reservoir and the other vacant, situated
<br />on the northwesterly side of Gramstry Place and the northwesterly terminus of
<br />Creighton Street, in Zone RC. It was deterre/ned that the matter would not be set
<br />for public hearing by the City Council.

<br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />~August 8, 1985, the Commission, by a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br /> conditions the proposal of the Tyler Group, Tract Map 21010, to divide approxi-
<br />;mately 58 vacant acres of land into 92 lots for single-family residential purposes,
<br />situated on the easterly side of Washington Street in the 7300-7400 blocks, the
<br />southerly side of Muirfield Road in the 1500-1600 blocks, and the westerly side of
