Rubidoux event. Suggested that perhaps this event would be <br />better in the cooler months. <br />Sandy Tarmo –asked the commissioners for their comments on the Mt. Rubidoux event. <br />Perhaps the committee should organize this event (Bud, Cheryl & Julie). <br />Sandy Tarmo–asked Bob to share on item # 4 (Fundraiser Event) <br />Bob Reeves–shared an outline on his recent visit to Meals on Wheels and his meeting with <br />Janice Bielman (Director). <br />Sandy Tarmo–suggested that item # 5 be tabled and discussed at the March meeting. It was <br />also suggested that a calendar of events be created and placed as a discussion item for the <br />March meeting. <br />Cheryl Tavaglione–reported that Victoria Springs Senior Apartments on Adams has agreed to <br />th <br />host the August 9MCOA meeting. <br />Shari Fleischman–shared with the group that she wrote an article on the California Senior <br />Guide on how Riverside became a Purple City and suggested that everyone read the article. <br />Also, this purple float event will once again take place in November 2016, with RAM making the <br />boat floats. <br />SandyTarmo-Meeting Adjourned @ 5:15pm <br />
