Davis, First Congregational <br />Church. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the Meeting of April 8, 1986, were approved as submitted. <br /> <br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Marylin Jacobsen representing <br />the Riverside Chamber of Commerce, Howard Born representing the Arlington Chamber of <br />Commerce, Lou Herrly representing the La Sierra Chamber of Commerce, Tullos Baugh <br />representing the Magnolia Center Chamber of Commerce, Ed Fuhrman representing the <br />Hunter Park-Northside Chamber of Commerce and Richard Rust representing the <br />University-Canyon Crest Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />YOUTH IN GOVERNMENT DAY <br />Mayor Brown acknowledged the presence in the audience of the students from various <br />high schools participating in the Youth in Government Day Program sponsored by the <br />Junior Chamber of Commerce, who had earlier been introduced to their City Official <br />Counterparts. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to <br />those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for <br />consideration, with the exception of Zoning Case C-2o-856 (Revised) which was re- <br />moved to the Discussion Calendar; and with Councilman Peterson requesting his vote <br />be shown as "Not Voting" on Zoning Case MP-8-856 because it is reasonably foresee- <br />able that the decision will have a material financial effect on a source of income. <br /> <br />CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />ZONING CASE C-18-845 (REVISED) - SHELL OIL COMPANY - 4890 VAN BUREN <br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on <br />:1arch 20, 1986, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 2 noes, approved subject to <br />conditions the request of Shell Oil Company, Zoning Case C-18-845 (Revised), for a <br />revised conditional use permit to establish a service station/mini market to replace <br />an existing service station on approximately .43 acre of land at 4890 Van Buren <br />Boulevard, situated on the southwesterly corner of Van Buren Boulevard and Wells <br />Avenue, in Zone C-2; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant <br />adverse effect on the environment. It was determined that the City Council would <br />not set the matter for public hearing. <br /> <br />ZONING CASE MP-S-856 - 'I AND S DEVELOPMENT, INC. - 6009-6296 RIVER CREST <br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on <br />March 20, 1986, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to <br />conditions the request of T and S Development, Inc., Zoning Case MP-a-856, for an <br />industrial plot plan consisting of six industrial and multi-tenant buildings and in- <br />cidental parking on approximately 14.6 vacant acres of land at 6009-6296 River Crest <br />Drive, situated on both sides of River Crest Drive northerly of Fischer Road, in <br />Zone MP, tentative Zones MP-BP under Zoning Case R-71-S56; and determined that the <br />proposal would not have a significant adverse effect on the environment. It was de- <br />termined that the City Council would not set the matter for public hearing. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION COMMISSION <br /> <br />CASE EPC-45-856 - PLANT 1 UPGRADE PROJECT - REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL PLANT <br />A communication was presented from the Environmental Protection Commission advising <br />that, on March 26, 1986, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes and 1 absten- <br />tion, determined that the proposed Plant 1 Upgrade project for the City of Riverside <br /> <br />71-534 <br /> <br />COUNCI LMEMBERS <br />,\\\\\\, <br />\<'0'[:'.
