The minutesfrom February 9, 2016were approved as written. Motion: E. Palacios Second: B. Minton Ayes: All CHAIRMAN’S REPORT 2. Recognition of Service-Dave Barnhart Dave was unable to attend the meeting. This agenda item will be rescheduled. Dave will be recognized th also at the upcoming Annual Boards & Commission reception on March 28. 3. Introduction of new Museum Board member Pending her oath by the City Clerk, Museum Board member Jennifer Binkley will take the City-wide position on the Board. REPORT ON MUSEUM OPERATIONS The Museum will have a twoday site visit as part of the reaccreditation process by theAmerican thst Alliance of Museums. This visit will bescheduled between July 15andAugust 31.The visiting team will be meeting with Board members also during their stay. The California Associationof Museum conference had events held at the Heritage House, Harada House and an after-hours party at the Fox. The City of Riverside will be moving to a new two-year budget format. The Finance department has th requested public input on the process. The Museum will be presenting to Council on April 12. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS No items at this time. COMMITTEE REPORTS 4. RMM Board Harada House Project Ad Hoc Committee- a meeting will be held next Monday afternoon. 5. RMM Collections Committee- the Committee met and reviewed items for accession. It was requested to have more representatives from the RMM Board serve on the Committee. They meet monthly at 2:30pm prior to the RMM Board meetings.
