<br />A comunication ~s presented from ~e Enviro~ental Protection Co~ission advisi~
<br />that, on ~c~ber 11, 1985, the Co~ission reviewed a Draft Enviro~ental Impact Re-
<br />port for the proposed Canyon Springs tmnk sewer line in the southeast portion of
<br />the City of Riverside, consisti~ of a 19,000-linear-foot tru~ sewer line between
<br />the existing Edgemont Co~unity Services District ~stewater treatment plant, lo-
<br />cated southerly of the westerly teminus of Eastridge Avenue and extendi~ northerly
<br />to an existing City of Riverside tm~ sewer located in Central Avenue; and, by a
<br />vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes aM 1 abstention, detemined that (1) the EIR was prepared
<br />in accordance ~th CEQA; and (2) significant impacts related to topographical alter-
<br />ation, geology, and soils will be reduced below a level of significance by the miti-
<br />gation measures identified in Section II-1 of the Draft EIR, Case EPC-23-845. ~e
<br />City Council upheld the Co~ission's reco~endation; and aleretained that the ~tter
<br />would not ~ set for public heari~.
