HD-002-978 <br /> <br /> 1 RESOLUTION NO. 19235 <br /> <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE DESIGNATING OF <br /> 3 THE COLONY HEIGHTS HISTORIC DISTRICT, BOUNDED BY THE <br /> NORTH SIDE OF MISSION INN AVENUE, THE WEST SIDE OF <br /> 4 PINE STREET, THE SOUTH SIDE OF THIRD STREET AND THE <br /> EAST SIDE OF REDWOOD DRIVE (CASE HD-002-978) <br /> 5 <br /> 6 WHEREAS, the Heritage Heights Neighborhood Association <br /> <br /> 7 has filed an application to designate the Heritage Heights <br /> 8 Historic District, the area bounded by the north side of Mission <br /> 9 Inn Avenue, the west side of Pine Street, the south side of Third <br /> 10 Street and the east side of Redwood Drive; and <br /> 11 WHEREAS, said application pertains to parcels of property <br /> 12 which are described by the parcel numbers listed in Attachment A; <br /> 13 and <br /> 14 WHEREAS, on January 7, 1998 a public information meeting <br /> 15 was held to which all the property owners in the proposed <br /> 16 historic district were invited per the procedures laid out in <br /> 17 Resolution No. 18842; and <br /> 18 WHEREAS, on January 21, 1998, the Cultural Heritage Board <br /> 19 of the City of Riverside conducted a duly noticed public hearing <br /> 20 on said application and recommended the approval of the <br /> 21 designation as an historic district for the area; and <br /> 22 WHEREAS, on February 17, 1998, the City Council of the <br /> 23 City of Riverside duly considered the recommendation forwarded by <br /> 24 the Cultural Heritage Board that the application for historic <br /> 25 district designation be approved and considered renaming the <br /> 26 proposed district the Colony Heights Historic District; and <br /> 27 WHEREAS, this process is exempt from review under the <br /> <br />Attorney's Office <br />Street <br />CA 92522 <br />782-5567 F: \WPDATA~RES\98006101.
