<br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Vik Christensen representing the
<br />Riverside Chamber of Commerce, Vic Jones representing the Arlington Chamber of Com-
<br />merce, Vik Christensen representing the La Sierra Chamber of Co~aerce, Hank Redmond
<br />representing the Magnolia Center Chamber of Commerce, Tim Burgess representing the
<br />Hunter Park-Northside Chamber of ConmerGe and Bambi Wiltchik representing the
<br />University-Canyon Crest Chamber of C~erce.
<br />
<br />Councilman Loveridge was excused at this time.

<br />CONSENT CALENDAR
<br />The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to
<br />those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for con-
<br />sideration, with the exception of the report relative to the Water SCADA software con-
<br />tract, which was removed to the Discussion Calendar.

<br />ZONING CASE C-27-667 (REVISED) - CALIFORNIA BAPTIST COLLEGE - 8432 MAGNOLIA
<br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />March 19, 1987, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to condi-
<br />tions the request of California Baptist College, Zoning Case C-27-667 (Revised), for a
<br />revised conditional use permit to establish a master plan for campus development includ-
<br />ing an ultimate expansion to approximately 3,000 students, classroam and administration
<br />buildings, student housing, parking garages and spaces and other incidental college
<br />buildings on approximately 75 acres of land at 8432 Magnolia Avenue, developed with the
<br />existing campus and student housing, situated on the southeasterly side of Magnolia Ave-
<br />nue, the northeasterly side of Monroe Street and the northwesterly side of Diana Avenue,
<br />in Zone R-1-65; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse ef-
<br />fect on the environment. It was actarm/ned that the City Council would not set the mat-
<br />ter for public hearing.

<br />ZONING CASE C-17-689 (REVISED) - 0LIV~OOD (~Mq~RY - 3300 CEI~
<br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />March 19, 1987, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to I no, approved subject to condi-
<br />tions the request of 01irewood Cemetery, Zoning Case C-17-689 (Revised), for a revised
<br />conditional use permit to construct a second mausoleu~ at 3300 Central Avenue, developed
<br />with a cemetery and mausoleum on approximately 70 acres of land, situated on the norther-
<br />ly and southerly sides of Central Avenue easterly of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe
<br />Railroad, in Zones RC and R-1-180; and determined that the proposal would not have a sig-
<br />nificant adverse effect on the environment. It was determined that the City Council
<br />would not set the matter for public hearing.

<br />ZONING CASE MP-4-767 (REVISED) - TORO COMPANY - 5825 JASMINE
<br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />March 19, 1987, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to condi-
<br />tions the request of the Toro Company, Zoning Case MP-4-767 (Revised), for an industrial
<br />plot plan consisting of an approximately 4,100-square-foot addition to the front of the
<br />building and mechanical equipment also in front of the buildin~ on approximately 20.4
<br />acres of land at 5825 Jasmine Street, developed with an industrial business, situated on
<br />the westerly side of Jasmine Street northerly of Colombus Avenue, in Zones M-1 and MP;
<br />and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse effect on the envi-
<br />ronment. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public
<br />hearing.
