Motion <br /> Second <br /> All Ayes <br /> <br />Councilman Loveridge entered at this time. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br />Mayor Brown presented a Resolution to Dr. William Thomas, retired Pastor of the Second <br />Baptist Church, for his outstanding contribution to his church, community and fellow man <br />for over 61 years. <br /> <br />The Chair recornized the presence in the audience of Mike Bright representing the Riv- <br />erside Chamber of Consnerce. Sue Wybraniec representing the Arlington Chamber of Com- <br />merce, Jim Paliungas representing the La Sierra Chamber of Commerce, Becky Palmet rep- <br />resenting the Magnolia Center Chamber of Commerce, Jeff Willlame representing the Hunter <br />Park-Northside Chamber of Commerce and Ralph Salisbury representing the University- <br />Canyon Crest Chamber of C~mnerce. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate ~o Motion X~ <br /> those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for Second XJ <br /> consideration. All Ayes <br /> <br /> CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE C-8-601 (REVISED) - RIVERSIDE RANCHEROS - 1198 (1208) WASHINGTON <br /> A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on De- <br /> cember 18, 1986, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes and 1 abstention, ap- <br />proved subject to conditions the request of Riverside Rancheros, Zoning Case C-8-601 <br />(Revised), for a revised conditional use permit to establish a roof structure over an <br />existing equestrian arena and to legalize an existing caretaker's mobile home within an <br />existing riding and roping club on approximately 11 acres of land at 1198 (1208) Wash- <br />ington Street, situated on the westerly side of Washington Street and the southerly side <br />of Gladstone Boulevard, in Zone RA-5; and determined that the proposal would not have a <br />significant adverse effect on the environment. It was determined that the City Council <br />would not set the matter for public hearing. <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE C-17-867 - E. AND A. MARQUEZ - 1704-34 OHIO AND 1705-35 ILLINOIS <br /> A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on De-' <br /> cember 18, 1986, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to con- <br /> ditions the request of E. and A. Marquez, Zoning Case C-17-867, for a conditional use <br /> permit to establish a board and care facility for approximately 48 ambulatory and non- <br /> ambulatory men and women 65 years of age and older on approximately 1.5 acres of land on <br /> eight lots at 1704-34 Ohio Avenue and 1705-35 Illinois Avenue, developed with a resi- <br /> dence and barn which w-All be removed, situated on the southerly side of Ohio Avenue, the <br /> northerly side of Illinois Avenue and the westerly side of Chicago Avenue, in Zone <br /> R-1-65; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse effect on <br /> the environment. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for <br /> public hearing. <br /> <br /> CASE GP-19-867 - COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE - PROPERTY AT SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LEMON AND TWELFTH <br /> A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on De- <br /> cember 4, 1986, the Commission considered the request of the County of Riverside, Case <br /> GP-19-867, for a determination that the proposed lease of property at the southeast cor- <br /> ner of Lemon and Twelfth Streets to the City of Riverside Redevelopmen· Agency and sub- <br /> lease to the State of California for use as court and office facilities for the Fourth <br /> District Court of Appeals is in conformante with the City of Riverside Ceneral Plan; <br /> and, by a vote of 6 ayes to 2 noes, (1) determined that the intended lease and sublease <br /> of the subject property for use as the Fourth District Court of Appeals court facilities <br /> <br />72-303 <br /> <br /> <br />
