<br />the University-Canyon Crest Chamber of Co:merce.

<br />CONSENT CALENDAR
<br />The followtn~ items ware approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to
<br />those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for
<br />consideration; with the exception of Zoning Case V-97-867, the report on the Riverside
<br />Water Cempany Canal and the Four Corners report, all of which were removed to the Dis-
<br />cussion Calendar; and with Councilman Peterson requesting that Ms votes be shown as
<br />"Not Voting' on the City Plan~tnX Commission's recommendations on Zoning Cases C-15-867
<br />and M~-8-856 (Revised) and the Environmental Protection Commission's recommendation on
<br />Zonin~ Case C-15-867 because it is reasonably foreseeable that the decision will have a
<br />material financial effect on a source of income.

<br />ZONING CASE C-43-63~ (REVISED) - ST. GEORGE'S EPISCOPAL CRFRCH - 950 SPRUCE
<br />A communication was presented from the City Plaunin~ Commission advising that, on De-
<br />cember 4, 1986, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to con-
<br />ditions the request of St. George's Episcopal Church, Zoning Case C-~3-634 (Revised),
<br />for a revised conditional use permit to construct a new sanctuary for an existing church
<br />on approximately ~.6 acres of land at 950 Spruce Street, situated on the southerly side
<br />of Spruce Street and the wastefly side of Wackins Drive, in Zone R-1-65; and determined
<br />that the proposal would not have a significant adverse effect on the environment. It
<br />was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public hearing.

<br />ZONING CASE C-15-867 - ROBERTSON HOMES - 11~5 MAGNOLIA
<br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on No-
<br />vember 6, 1986, the Commission considered the request of Robertson Home, Zoning Case
<br />C-15-867, for a conditional use permit to establish a private antenna system including
<br />an approximately 50-foot-high antenna tower and several satellite dishes within a 71A-
<br />unit apartmnt/condominiom complex under construction on approximately 34 acres of land
<br />at 11&~5 Magnolia Avenue, situated on the northwesterly side of Magnolia Avenue and the
<br />southeasterly side of Pierce Street generally northwesterly of Riverside 91 Freeway, in
<br />Zones RO-S-2-X; and, by a vote of 6 ayes to 3 noes, approved subject to conditions the
<br />conditional use permit, with the lowering of the antenna tower to 35 feeC. The City
<br />Council upheld the Commission's recommendation; and determined that the matter would not
<br />be set for public hearing.

<br />CASE GP-20-867 - COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE - PROPERTY AT 3650 ELEVENTH :
<br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on Decem-~
<br />bet 18, 1986, the Commission considered the request of the County of Riverside, Case~
<br />GP-20-867, for a determination that the proposed sale of property at 3650 Eleventh:
<br />Street is in conformante with the City of Riverside General Plan; and, by a vote of:
<br />5 ayes to 1 no, (1) informed the County that sale of the project site for any future~
<br />private use permitted b7 the existing C-3 zoning would not be consistent with the City's:
<br />General Plan land use designation of Large Public and Institutional; and (2) forwarded ~
<br />these recommendations to the City Council for review, and, in turn, to the County of ~
<br />Riverside for their consideration. The City Council upheld the Commission's recommenda-,
<br />tions.
