<br />Magnolia Center Chamber of Commerce, Eric Pekarek representing the Hunter Park-Northside
<br />Chamber of Commerce and Lance Gilmer representing the University-Canyon Crest Chamber of
<br />Commerce.

<br />CONSENT CALENDAR
<br />The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to
<br />those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for con-
<br />sideration; with the exception of the proposed skateboard ordinance which was removed to
<br />the Discussion Calendar.

<br />ZONING CASE C-1~634 (REVISED) - RIMSIDE GARDEN EIZMENTARY SCHOOL, ET AL. - 1085 LINDEN
<br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />April 21, 1988, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to condi-
<br />tions the request of Riverside Garden Elementary School, et el., Zoning Case C-10-634
<br />(Revised), for a revised conditional use permit to legalize the current private elementa-
<br />ry school operation to establish a portable classroom and to increase the number of stu-
<br />dents from 157 to 175, established on approximately 5.88 acres of land at 1085 Linden
<br />Street, developed on the site of Crane United Methodist Church, situated on the norther-
<br />ly side of Linden Street w~sterly of Canyon Crest Drive, in Zone R-1-65 and Zone R-3;
<br />and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse effect on the envi-
<br />ronment. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public
<br />hearing.

<br />ZONING CASE C-46-878 - PARKVIEW NURSERY, ET AL. - 1724 ENTERPRISE
<br />A coumaunication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />April 21, 1988, the Couz~ission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes and 1 abstention, approved
<br />subject to conditions the request of Parkview Nursery, et al., Zoning Case C-46-878, for
<br />a conditional use permit to establish a retail plant nursery on approximately 1.2 acres
<br />of land at 1724 Enterprise Avenue, developed with a single-family residence, situated on
<br />the west side of Chicago Avenue extending the entire distance between 0hio Street and En-
<br />terprise Avenue, in Zone R-1-65; and determined that the proposal would not have a sig-
<br />nificant adverse effect on the environment. It was determined that the City Council
<br />would not set the matter for public hearing.

<br />ZONING CASE C-50-878 - MOBIL OIL CORPORATION, ET AJ~. - 3480 MADISON
<br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />April 21, 1988, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to condi-
<br />tions the request of Mobil Oil Corporation, et al., Zoning Case C-50-878, for a condi-
<br />tional use permit to establish a new self-service gasoline station, mini-market and car
<br />wash replacing an existing station on approximately .49 acre of land at 3480 Madison&
<br />Street, situated on the southwesterly side of Madison Street adjacent to the northeast
<br />to the Riverside 91 Freeway, in Zone C-4; and determined that the proposal would not
<br />have a significant adverse effect on the environment. It was deterrained that .the City
<br />Council would not set the matter for public hearing.
