CITY C)F RIVERSIDE <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Clarke called the meeting to order in the absence of Mayor Brown. <br /> <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM 1987-88 - 1992-93 <br />The City Council continued review of the Capital Improvement Program for the period <br />1987-88 to 1992-93, with consideration of the following proposed programs contained in <br />the General Fund Capital Improvement Fund section. <br /> <br />Mayor Brown entered during the following discussion, assumed the Chair, and presided. <br />Councilwoman Frizzel entered during the following discussion. <br /> <br /> LIBRARY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS <br /> The Library Director discussed the Library Capital Improvements as presented on pag- <br /> es 3 through 7 of the tIP, and answered questions from the City Council. Following a <br /> brief discussion, the City Council tentatively approved the Library Capital Improve- <br /> ments as presented. <br /> <br /> PARK AND RECREATION CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS <br /> The Park and Recreation Capital Improvements, shown on pages 9 through 21, were <br /> presented by the Park and Recreation Director. Following discussion, the Park and <br /> Recreation Capital Improvements were tentatively approved. <br /> <br /> DOWNTOWN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS <br /> Special Assistant to the City Manager Van Fleet presented the proposed Downtown Pub- <br /> lic Improvements Capital Improvements, as shown on pages 39 through 42. Following a <br /> brief discussion, this portion of the CIP was given tentative approval. <br /> <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS <br /> Administrative Services Officer Kachevas discussed the Administrative Services por- <br /> tion of the Capital Improvement Program, presented on pages 23 through 25. Following <br /> discussion, the City Council gave tentative approval to this portion of the CIP as <br /> presented. <br /> <br /> PUBLIC PARKING SERVICES CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS <br /> The Public Parking Services Capital Improvements were presented by the Public Works <br /> Director, as shown on pages 27 through 29 of the CIP. Following a brief discussion, <br /> the section was tentatively approved. <br /> <br /> HISTORIC RESOURCES CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS <br /> The Historic Resources Director presented the Historic Resources portion of the Capi- <br /> tal Improvement Program, and answered questions from the City Council. Following dis- <br /> cussion, the City Council tentatively approved the Historic Resources portion of the <br /> tIP. <br /> <br /> FIRE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS <br /> The Fire Chief presented the Fire portion of the Capital Improvement Program, pag- <br /> es 35 through 37, and answered questions from the City Council. Following discus- <br /> sion, the Fire section of the CIP was tentatively approved. <br /> <br />AIRPORT FUND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS <br />The Airport Director discussed the Airport Fund Capital Improvements proposed on pag- <br />es 87 through 91 of the Capital Improvement Program.
