Following discussion the Cultural Heritage Board <br />recommended that the City Council: 1. Determine the project is <br />Motion <br />X <br />categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental <br />Second <br />X <br />Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15061(b)(3) and 21084.1 of the <br />All Ayes <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />CEQA Guidelines as it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility <br />that the activity will have a significant effect on the environment; and 2. <br />Approve Planning Case P16 -0292 based on the facts for findings outlined <br />in the staff report thereby dedesignating 4049 -4053 Main Street as a City <br />Structure of Merit and as a contributor to the Mission Inn Historic District. <br />PLANNING CASE P16 -0054 — Landmark Designation — 5797 Picker <br />Street <br />Landmark Designation of the Camp Anza Officers Club, requested by <br />Jennifer Mermilliod on behalf of Wakeland Housing & Development <br />Corporation. Scott Watson, Associate Planner, presented the staff report. <br />Jennifer Mermilliod, contract planner on behalf of Wakeland Housing & <br />Development Corporation, addressed the Board in support of the <br />application. There were no comments from the audience. Following <br />Motion <br />X <br />discussion the Cultural Heritage Board recommended that the City <br />Second <br />X <br />Council: 1. Determine that P16 -0054, City Landmark Designation, is <br />All Ayes <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA) per Sections 15061(b)(3) and 15308 of the CEQA Guidelines as <br />it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity will <br />have a significant effect on the environment, said action is intended to <br />preserve the historic character of the building and site, and to provide <br />notice of the historic status; and 2. Approve Planning Case P16 -0054 <br />based on the facts for findings outlined in the staff report thereby <br />designating the Camp Anza Officers Club a City Landmark. <br />PLANNING CASE P16 -0344 — Code Amendment - Municipal Code, Title <br />20 <br />Proposed minor revisions to the Municipal Code Title 20 to add a <br />recognition of City Points of Cultural Interest, including criteria and <br />procedures for recognition. Erin Gettis, Historic Preservation <br />Officer /Principal Planner, presented the staff report. There were no <br />comments from the audience. Following discussion the Cultural Heritage <br />Motion <br />X <br />Board recommended that the City Council: 1.
