<br /> Fourteenth Street, Orange Grove Avenue, Prospect Avenue and Main Street, as a Preserva-
<br /> tion DIstrict. The heari~ had been continued from November 25, 1986, when the C~ty
<br /> Council Utility Services/Land Use/Energy Development Committee ~s requested to meet
<br /> ~th interested property o~ers, inspect the structures ~ncluded In the proposed Dis-
<br /> trict, and pTesen~ its recommendations to the C~ty Council. The hearing ~d ~en fu~
<br /> ther continued from time to t~ s~e Januaff 20, 1987, and ~st recently from Octo-
<br /> ~r 25, 1988, at the recommendation of the Co~ttee to allow time for renew of t~

<br /> of Van Buren Boulevard westerly of Barton Road (extended), in Zone R-1-65: (A) ~o allow

<br /> feet into the required 25-foot rear yard setbacks; and (B) to allow future dwellings on

<br /> granted, and the variances were approved, subject to the applicable conditions recom-
<br /> mended by the Planning Department and sisted in full in the artacCent to the communica-
<br /> tion f=om the Board of ~mi~is~rative Appeals and ZoMng AdJust~nt per=atM~ to this
<br /> case. The City Council datemined t~t approval of the variances would no~ ~ve a sig-
<br /> nificant adverse ~mpact on t~ envtron~nt; and Resolution No. 16967 of the C~ty Council
<br /> of the City of Riverside, California, Rendering Its Decision Granting a Variance, was Motion ~X~
<br /> presented; and the title ~ been read, and further resdi~ waived ~ the u~nimous Second X]

<br /> into approximately six lots for residential purposes, developed ~th a sidle-family res-
<br /> idence and accessoff ~ild~ng, situated on the northerly s~de of Bradley Street approxi-
<br /> mately 330 feet easterly of Whitegate Ave~e, in Zone R-l-130, Tract Map 23709. The
<br /> hearing ~d been continued from October 18, 1988, for publication of the notice of nega-
<br /> tt~ declaration, and to allow time for the o~er and developer of the subject property
