The Invocation was given by Councilman Clarke. The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. MINITIES The Minutes of the Meeting of October 18, 1988, were approved as submitted. :Motion ~Becond All Ayes Motion 'Second ~All Ayes PUBLIC HEARINGS BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL AT 3 P.M. FURTHER HEARING - DESIGNATION OF PRESERVATION DISTRICT - PROSPECT PLACE AREA - APPEAL - CONTINUED 3 P.M.--Further hearlng was called on the appeal of T & C Building of the decision of the Cultural Heritage Board in designating the Prospect Place area, generally bounded by Fourteenth Street, Orange Grove Avenue, Prospect Avenue and Main Street, as a Preserva- tion DIstrict. The hearing had been continued from November 25, 1986, when the Clty Council Utility Services/Land Use/Energy Development Committee was requested to meet with interested property owners, inspect the structures included in the proposed Dis- trict, and present its recommendations to the City Council. The hearing bad been fur- ther continued from time to time since January 20, 1987, and most recently from Septem- ber 13, 1988, at the recommendation of the Committee to allow time for review of the traffic study being done for the Riverside Community College area. In consideration of the recommendation of Councilman Loveridge, the hearing was further continued to Novem- ber 22, 1988, at 3 p.m. ~ZONING CASE R-16-889 - 6643 SCHOOL CIRCLE - REZONING - ORDINANCE INTRODUCED 3 P.M.--Hearing was called on the proposal of DtManno Construction Company to rezone ap- proximately one-third vacant acre of land located at 6643 School Circle, situated on the northwesterly side of School Circle northerly of Shatto Place, in Zone RO and remove the same from Zone R-1-65; wi~h the City Council to also consider supplementing the t ,Motion ~S cond e :All Ayes ~X 'x :X :X 74-154
