<br />1il <br /> <br />CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> <br /> B M D K C T P <br /> E 0 E A L H E <br /> A 0 F N I 0 A <br /> T R E E F M R <br />Minutes of: Regular Meeting of the City Council y E N F P S <br /> B 0 S 0 <br />Date of Meeting: June 22, 1999 A R o N <br />Time of Meeting: 2p.m. u D N <br /> G <br />Place of Meeting: Council Chamber, City Hall H <br /> WARDS 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 <br />Roll Call: Present A X X X X AX <br />CLOSED SESSION <br />The Mayor and Councilmembers recessed to the City Council Board Room for a <br />closed session pursuant to Government Code 954956.9 to confer with and/or <br />receive advice from legal counsel concerning one case of anticipated litigation. <br />The Mayor and Councilmembers reconvened in the Council Chamber. <br />PARKING, INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT, AND ECONOMIC DEVELOP- <br />MENT AUTHORITIES <br />The City Council recessed for the purpose of sitting as the Parking Authority, the <br />Industrial Development Authority, and the Economic Development Authority. <br />There being no business to be conducted, the meetings were adjourned; and the <br />body reconvened as the City Council. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS AT 3 P.M. <br />ZONING CASE RZ-020-989 - 4139-75 V AN BUREN - CONTINUED <br />3 P.M.--Hearing was called on the proposal of Thomas Hunt, on behalf of Harvest <br />Christian Fellowship, to place approximately .8 acre developed with a small <br />commercial building at 4139-75 Van Buren Boulevard, situated on the easterly side <br />of Van Buren Boulevard, southerly of California Avenue in Zone C-2 and remove <br />same from Zone RO with the City Council to also consider supplementing the <br />requested zoning with Zones Sand X. The City Council will also consider the <br />determination by the Planning Commission that the proposed project will not have a Motion X <br />significant effect on the environment and that a Negative Declaration be adopted. Second X <br />At the request of staff, the public hearing was continued to July 27, 1999, at 2 p.m. All Ayes <br />CASE SP-005-989 - HUNTER BUSINESS PARK SPECIFIC PLAN <br />3 P.M.--Hearing was called on the proposal of the City of Riverside to amend the <br />Hunter Business Park Specific Plan to redesignate that portion of Columbia Avenue <br />between Iowa Avenue and the proposed north-south collector street from a 134- <br />foot-wide arterial to a 110-foot-wide arterial. No protests were presented. <br />Following discussion, the public hearing was officially closed. The City Council <br />approved Case SP-005-989 subject to the conditions as recommended by the <br />Planning Commission, adopted the staff report and environmental assessment as <br />findings; upheld the Planning Commission's determination that the project will not <br />have a significant effect on the environment and concurred in the adoption of a <br />Negative Declaration; found there is no evidence that the proposed project will have <br />any potential for adverse effect on wildlife resources and the impacts of the project <br />are found to be de minimis pursuant to Section 711.4 of the Fish and Game Code; Motion X <br />and requested the Legal Department to prepare the appropriate resolution within Second X <br />30 days.
