Following discussion the Cultural Heritage Board: 1. <br />Motion <br />X <br />Determined that Planning Case P15 -0899 is categorically exempt from <br />Second <br />X <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review pursuant to Section <br />All Ayes <br />15061(b)(3) and 21084.1 of the CEQA Guidelines as it can be seen with <br />certainty that there is no possibility that the activity will have a significant <br />effect on the environment, and; 2. Approved Planning Case P15 -0899 <br />based on the findings outlined in the staff report and subject to the <br />recommended conditions, thereby issuing a Certificate of Appropriateness <br />for the project. <br />MISCELLANEOUS PLANNING AND ZONING ITEMS <br />ELECTION OF OFFICERS <br />Nominations were made for the following: <br />Motion <br />X <br />Chair — Steve Lech <br />Second <br />X <br />Vice -Chair — Monty Van Wart <br />All Ayes <br />ITEMS FOR FUTURE AGENDAS AND UPDATE FROM THE HISTORIC <br />PRESERVATION OFFICER <br />Ms. Gettis announced that two landmark designations were approved by <br />Coucil. <br />She introduced Scott Watson, newly hired Assistant Planner. The Board <br />welcomed Mr. Watson. <br />Ms. Gettis indicated that there was some training funds available if anyone <br />wanted to attend the State Historic Preservation Conference in San <br />Francisco next month. She asked that those interested contact her. <br />Ms. Adame briefed the Board on the Historic Preservation fund <br />applications. She stated that 25 applications have been received and staff <br />is in the process of reviewing those for eligibility.
