Councilmen Loveridge and Buster entered during the follo~rln~ presentation. INFORMATION SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT The Information Systems Director presented the proposed budget for the Information Sys- tems Department. The City Council gave tentative approval to the budget as presented. FINANCE DEPARTMENT AND INSURANCE TRUST The Finance Department and Insurance Trust proposed nance Director, who answered questions from the City Council and the Budget Advisory Com- mittee. Following discussion, the budgets were tentatively approved as presented. Motion Second All Ayes budgets were presented by the Fi- :Motion ,Second ;All Ayes MAYOR The Assistant to City Manager-Budget Tremont presented the proposed budget for the May- or's office. Followin~ discussion, the City Council tentatively approved the budget as presented. CITY COUNCIL Following presentation by the Assistant to City Manager-Budget, the City Council gave tentative approval to the proposed City Council budget as presented. CITY CLERK The Assistant to City Manager-Budget presented the proposed budget of the City Clerk's Department. Followin~ a brief discussion, the budget was tentatively approved as pre- sented. CITY MANAGER The Assistant to City ManagerBudget presented the proposed budget of the City Manager's Department, and answered questions from the City Council and the Committee. Following discussion, the City Manager's staff was requested to study, with the Cable Advisory Com- mittee, the televising of City Council meetings and meetings of certain boards and 'com- missions, and present its report to the City Council within 60 days. Following discussion, tentative approval was given the proposed City Manager's budget as presented. LEGAL DEPARI~ENT Following presentation by the Assistant to City Manager-Budget of the proposed Legal De- partment budget, the budget was tentatively approved by the City Council. Following a general discussion by the City Council and the Budget Advisory Committee of possible changes to the budget as presented, it was the decision of the City Council to meet in the Mayor's Ceremonial Room at 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, June 19, 1990, for further consideration of the budget. At 11:20 a.m., the Mayor declared the City Council meeting adjourned.
