CITY OF RIVERSIDE COUNCI LMEMBERS , ,~, ,,%.'..,,~,,~..,, ,, ~ime of Meeting: Z P.M. ~ ',,'~,~',, ',, Roll Call: ' Present 'X'X,X,X,X,X, BUDGET REVIEW Mayor Frizzel called the meeting to order, and announced that discussion would continue on the Preliminary Budget for the City of Riverside for the Fiscal Year 1990-91. FIRE DEPARTMENT The Fire Chief presented the proposed budget for the Fire Department, together with sup- plemental fund requests. Follow!hE discussion, tentative approval was given the basic budget as presented. Councilman Loveridge was excused at this time. POLICE DEPARTMENT The proposed budget for the Police Department was presented by the Police Chief, together with supplemental fund requests. Following discussion, the City Council tentatively ap- proved the basic budget as presented. PARK AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT The Park and Recreation Director presented the proposed budget for the Park and Recrea- tion Department and amended budget pages C-45 and 385, relating to Capital Improve- ments. Following discussion, tentative approval was given the budget as presented. ADJOURNMENT At 5:45 p.m., the Mayor declared the City Council adjourned to an Adjourned Regular Meet- in~ to be held in the Central Library Auditorium, 3581 Seventh Street, for continued re- view of the proposed 1990-91 budget, on Friday, May 25, 1990, at 2 p.m. Motion ,Second All Ayes ~ Motion Second tall Ayes Motion Second All Ayes X 75-488
