<br />Mayor Frizzel called on Durand Rall, fomer General Manger of Riverside Transit Agency,
<br />who introduced Susan Hafner, new General Manger, to the Mayor and City Council. The
<br />Mayor and City Council also applauded the past decade of outstanding leadership brought
<br />to RTA by Mr. Rall.

<br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Romayne Chi~ock representing the
<br />Arlington Chamber of Comerce, Tom Green representing the La Sierra Ch~ber of C~erce,
<br />Tim Burgess representing the Hunter Park-Northside Ch~ber of Co~erce, Ric~rd Lemire
<br />representi~ the University-Canyon Crest Ch~ber of Co~erce and Aurelio Aguirre repre-
<br />senting the Greater Rivers~de Hispanic Chamber of Coverts.

<br />In consideration of the rec~mendation from the Public Works Department, the work of
<br />t~iway 9-27 sealcoat project, AIP Project No. 3-06-020~08, at Riverside Municipal Air-
<br />port, by IPS Services, Inc., was accepted as c~pleted; and execution of the Notice of
<br />Completion was authorized.

<br /> The Faithful Perfounts Bond of K & M Partnership, as principal, and Developers Insur-
<br /> ance Company, as surety, in the ~ount of ,88,200; together with the Labor and Material
<br /> Bond, executed by the principal and surety as listed above, in the amount of ,44,100;
<br /> gether ~th their Agreement g~ranteeing the completion of streets, curbs, gutters, and
<br /> all other improvements descried on the Fill Map of Tract 23765, located at the temi-
<br /> nus of Gato Court easterly of Niki Way, were approved and accepted.

<br />Resolution No. 17415 of the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, Accepting
<br />the Official Map of Tract 23765, consisting of two sheets, being a subdivision of a por-
<br />tion of Lot 8, and a portion of Lot 11 of Tract No. 21907 as sho~ on a map on file tn
<br />Book 171 of Maps, Pages 19 thru 21, Records of Riverside County, Califomia, located in
<br />Section 19, T.2 S., R.4 W., San Bemardino Meridian; together ~th the streets and ease-
<br />ments as sho~ thereon; together with any variances as to lot area, building area or
<br />yard requirements approved by the Plating Co~ission; a~ authorizing the City Clerk to
<br />attest said Map, ~s presented; and the title havi~ been read, and further reading
<br />waived by the unanimous consent of Counci~embere present, was adopted.

<br /> In consideration of the reco~endation from the Purchasing Se~ices Manger and the Pub-
<br /> lic Works Department, the bid of Bonadi~n-McCain, Inc., in the amount of ~116,798, ~as
<br /> accepted for furnishing all lair, ~terials and equipment for the work of Tyler Street
<br /> Sto~ Drain improvements fr~ 672 feet to 1,920 feet south of Magnolia Avers. All
<br /> other bids were rejected, and the bonds submitted with said rejected bids were released
<br /> from further liability; the City Attorney ~s requested to prepare the necessa~ con-
<br /> tract; and execution of the contract was authorized and directed upon approval by the
<br /> City Attorney of the required perromance bonds.
