T~ Pledge of Allegiance was given to t~ Flag. , MINUTES The Minutas of the Meetings of ~ebr~ry 15, 16 and 20, 1990, were approved as submittad. PUBLIC HEARINGS BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL AT 3 P.M. AMENDMENT TO TH~ SYCAMORE CANYON BUSINESS PARK SPECIFIC PLAN OF TH~ RIVERSIDE GENERAL PLAN - CASE SPA-5-890 - ALESSANDRO 3 P.M.--RearinS was called on the proposal of the City of Riverside to amend the Syca- more Canyon Business Park Specific Plan of the City of Riverside General Plan, Case SPA-5-890, by establishing a 50-foot landscaped/building setback along the northerly side of Alessandro Boulevard between a point approximately 1,100 feet westerly of the ex- istin~ alignment of Interstate 215 and approximately 2,640 feet fur=her westerly. This mrtion of Alessandro Boulevard borders properties commonly known as the Motorfair Proj- ect. As heretofore directed by the City Council, the minutes of the City Planning Com- mission and the Environmental Protection Commission pertainir~ to this case are on file and are a part of the evidence submitted at this hearing, whether or not any portion thereof is read or discussed. The communication from the City Planning Commission stated that the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, appro~ed~the proposed Spe- cific Plan amendment, subject to the condition that the Legal Depanmant shall be re- quested ~o prepare the necessary resolution within 30 days. The communication from the Envirormaental Protection Commission advised that the Commission, by a vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes, determined that the proposed project would not have a significant adverse effect on the environment. The Planning Director presented departmental recommendations, to- gether with maps of the area. No one was present wishing to speak on the matter. No written protests were presented. The public hearing was officially closed. It was de- termined that the Specific Plan amendment would not have a siSnificant adverse environ- mental effect; and the staff report and the environmental assessment were adopted as findings. The Specific Plan amendmenC was approved as presented; and =he Legal Depart- ment was requested to prepare the necessary resolution for adoption within 30 days. I I AMENDMENT TO THE ALESSANDRO HEIGHTS SPECIFIC FLAN OF THE RIVERSIDE GENERAL ~ - CASE SPA-6-890 - ALESSANDRO EASTERLY OF TRAUTHEIN 3 P.M.--Hearing was called on the proposal of the City of Riverside to amend the Alessan- dro Heights Specific Plan of the City of Riverside General Plan to establish a uniform 50-foot landscaped/building setback adjacent to the southerly side of Alessandro Boule- vard easterly of Trautwein Road within .=he Specific Plan area where a variable setback presently exists, Case SPA-6-890. As heretofore directed by the City Council, the min- utes of the City Planning Commission and the Enviroamental Protection Commission pertain- in~ to this case are on file and are a part of the evidence submitted at this hearing, whether or not any portion thereof is read or discussed.
