Cultural Heritage Board Agenda - Final June 15, 2016 <br />COMMENTS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />1 Public Comments: This portion of the agenda will be limited to a cumulative total <br />of 15 minutes, with individual speakers limited to a maximum time limit of 3 <br />minutes. Further discussion of any matter beyond 15 minutes will be continued <br />later in the agenda. If there is no one from the audience wishing to speak, the <br />Board will move to the next order of business. <br />DISCUSSION CALENDAR <br />This portion of the Cultural Heritage Board Agenda is for all matters where staff and public <br />participation is anticipated. Individual audience participation is limited to 3 minutes. <br />2 PLANNING CASE P16 -0243: Proposed Certificate of Appropriateness request by <br />Hudson Pruitt Architecture, for construction of an approximately 1,570 sq.ft. <br />attached 3 -car garage with Porte Cochere, fitness room, and craft room, a 5,000 <br />sq.ft. two -story detached car collectors garage and wine cellar, and site <br />improvements including landscaping, fencing, gates, and driveways, at a <br />single - family residence located at 3261 Strong Street, City Landmark #91, in the <br />R -1- 7000 -CR zone in Ward #1. It is recommended that the Cultural Heritage <br />Board determine the proposal is categorically exempt from California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review pursuant to Sections 15301 and 15332, <br />because the project constitutes a minor addition to historic resource and an in -fill <br />development that is consistent with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the <br />Treatment of Historic Properties. Individual audience participation is limited to 3 minutes. <br />3 PLANNING CASE P16 -0292: Proposed historic dedesignation by the City of <br />Riverside of Structure of Merit No. 302, located at 4049 Main Street, in the Justice <br />Center District of the Downtown Specific Plan, and the removal of the <br />CR— Cultural Resources Overlay Zone associated with the Structure of Merit No. <br />302, in Ward 1.
