WA~D5 ', 1~ ',4~ 5~s',7 ~ <br />................................... ~ ........................................................ <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />The Invocation was given by the Reverend William Guske, Lutheran Church of the Cross. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the Meetings of December 11 and 12, 1990, were approved as submitted. <br /> <br />PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />The Arlanza Raiders Youth Flag Football Team presented its Inland Valley State Champion- <br />ship trophy to Terz7 Nellson, who accepted it on behalf of Park and Recreation Director <br />Dee Bachman. <br /> <br />Elizabeth Schreiber, General ManeSet of the Tyler Mall, advised that trees have been <br />planted in Cleveland National Forest in the name of the Mayor and City Council, and <br />presented Certificates to the Mayor and Members of the City Council. <br /> <br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Rich Biber representing the Arling- <br />ton Chamber of Co--.erce, Pete Saputo representing the La Sierra Chamber of Commerce, <br />Rants Garrett representin~ the Magnolia Center Chamber of Commerce, Richard Clarke repre- <br />sentins the Hunter Park-Northstde Chamber of Commerce and Richard Lemire representing <br />the University-Canyon Crest Chamber of C~eTce. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The follo~vinS items, presented to the City Council on the Consent Calendar for considera- <br />tion, were approved by one motion affirmins the actions appropriate to each item. <br /> <br /> CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE C-4-690 (REVISED) - VICTORIA COUNTRY CLUB - 2521 ARROYO <br /> A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advisins that, on Novem- <br /> ber 21, 1990, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes and 1 abstention, approved <br /> subject to conditions the request of Victoria Country Club, Zonin8 Case C-4-690 (Re- <br /> vised), for a revised conditional use permit to install an above-ground fuel storage <br /> tank to serve the Victoria Country Club Golf Course at 2521 Arroyo Drive, situated be- <br /> tween Victoria and Chicago Avenues northerly of Arroyo Drive, in Zone O; and determined <br /> that the proposal would not have a significant adverse effect on the environment. The <br /> Commission's approval was upheld by the City Council. <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE C-19-901 - JOHN S. CURTS - 6177 RIVER CREST <br /> A communication was presented from the City Plannins Commission advisins that, on Novem- <br /> ber 21, 1990, the Commission, by a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to condi- <br /> tions the request of 3ohn S. Curts. Zoning Case C-19-901, for a conditional use permit <br /> to establish a wireless television broadcastins facility with four ground-mounted satel- <br /> lite dish antennae and one approximately 45-foot-high transmittins tower within an exist- <br /> in~ industrial park at 6177 River Crest Drive, situated on the east side of River Crest <br /> Drive ~enerally situated between Box Springs Boulevard and the Escondido Expressway, in <br /> Zones MP-BP; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse ef- <br /> fect on the environment. The Commission's approval was upheld by the City Council. <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE PRD-1-901 (REVISED) - BAWARDEN DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION - EASTERLY TERMINUS <br /> OVERLOOK PARKWAY EXTENSION <br /> A communication was presented from the City PlannfnE Commission advtsins that, on Novem- <br />J-b r <br /> e 21, 1990, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 1 no, approved subject to condi- <br /> tions the request of Hawarden Development Corporation, Zoning Case PRD-1-901 (Revised), <br /> to establish an approximately 46-unit planned residential development consisting of 46 <br /> detached single-family residences and common open space on approximately 80 acres of <br /> land developed with a City water reservoir and the remainder vacant, situated on both <br /> sides of the easterly terminus of Overlook Parkway extension, in Zone RC; and determined <br /> that the proposal would not have a significant adverse effect on the environment.
