CITY C)F RIVERSIDE <br /> <br />Minutes of <br />Date of Meeting: <br />Time of Meeting: <br />Place of Meeting: <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />November 20, 1990 <br />9 A.M. <br />Council Chamber, City Hall <br /> <br /> COUNCI LMEMBEPS <br /> <br />WARDS ~'~,1~%.2"",3\4~'~.5\6~"~7''', <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />The Invocation was given by the Reverend Rot Halvorson, Bethel Christian Center. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the Meetings of November 13, 1990, were approved as submitted. <br /> <br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Sam Digati representing the Arling- <br />ton Chamber of C~mnerce, Fred Butler representing the Magnolia Center Chamber of Com- <br />merce, Catby Brostrand representing the Hunter Park-Nor~hside Chamber of Commerce and <br />Ralph Salisbury representing the University-Canyon Crest Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items, presented to the City Council on the Consent Calendar for considera- <br />tion, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each item. <br /> <br />PURCHASING SERVICES MANAGER <br /> <br />BID NO. 4678 - MAINTENANCE SERVICE FOR PERSONAL COMPUTERS <br />In consideration of the recommendation from the Purchasing Services Manager and the 1n- <br />formation Systems Department, the bid of Riverside Doctor Micro, Inc., in the mount of <br />~29,528.97 for Option No. 2 (20 months), was accepted for providing maintenance service <br />for personal computers and related hardware for the period November 1, 1990, through <br />June 30, 1992. All other bids were rejected; and the Purchasing Services Manager was au- <br />thorized to proceed with the purchase by Purchase Order. <br /> <br />RELINQUISHMENT OF WATER EASEMENTS - TRACT 20986-14, PARCEL MAP 24041 <br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Administrative Services Di- <br />rector, concurred in by the Public Utilities Director and the City Attorney, recommend- <br />ing that the City Council approve the relinquishment of water easements retained by the <br />City over Tract 20986-14 and affecting Parcel Map 24041, located in portions of Wimble- <br />don Drive and Surrey Circle; and authorize execution of a quitclaim deed to the City of <br />Corona, as requested. The recommendations were approved as presented; and execution of <br />the Quitclaim Deed was authorized and directed. <br /> <br />LICENSE TO CROSS RIVERSIDE WATER COMPANY CANAL AT 12500 INDIANA <br />A written repor~ was submitted from the City Manager and the Administrative Services Di- <br />rector, concurred in by the City Attorney and the Public Utilities Director, recommend- <br />ins thaC the City Council authorize preparation and execution of a revocable license <br />agreement to ~arold t. Peck ~or a crossin~ of the Riverside Water C0mpan? Canal right- <br />of-way at 12500 lndiana Avenue, and approve a processing fee of $150. The recommenda- <br />tion was approved as presented. <br /> <br />IDYLLWILD BRANCH LIBRARY - LEASE AGREEMENT <br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Administrative Services Di- <br />rector, concurred in by the LibraT7 Director and the City Attorney, recommending that <br />the City Council authorize execution of the lease agreement with Maureen M. Jones for <br />the Idyllwild Branch Library under the terms described in the report. The recommenda- <br />tion was approved as presented. <br /> <br />RIVERSIDE COMMUNITY CENTER - LEASE AGREEMENT WITH RIVERSIDE-IMPERIAL COUNTIES EPILEPSY <br />SOClETY <br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Administrative Services Di- <br />rector, concurred in by the City Attorney and the Park and Recreation Director, recom- <br />mending that the City Council (1) approve the request by the Riverside-Imperial Counties <br />Epilepsy Society to lease the approximately 255 square feet of space in Room 112 in the <br />Riverside Commnunity Center at the current rental rate of ~75 per month, effective Decem- <br />ber 1, 1990; and (2) authorize the preparation and execution of a Lease Agreement.
