Just, Riverside County Sheriff's Department. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the Meeting of September ~, 1990, were approved as submitted. <br /> <br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Eatsban Sofiario representing the <br />Riverside Chamber of Commerce, Rich Biber representing the Arlington Chamber of Com- <br />merce, Tullos Baugh representing the Magnolia Center Chamber of Commerce and Jim Hender- <br />son representing the University-Canyon Crest Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items, presented to the City Council on the Consent Calendar for considera- <br />tion, were approved 57 one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each item. <br /> <br />CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />ZONING CASE C-60-590 (REVISED) - PARKVIEW COMITY HOSPITAL - 3865 JACKSON <br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Co~mission advlsfn8 that, on Au- <br />gust 23, 1990, the Commission, 57 a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to condi- <br />tions the request of Parkview Cobcity Hospital, Zoning Case C-60-590 (Revised), for a <br />revised conditional use permit to replace an existin8 850-square-foot storage buildinK <br />with an approximately 1,320-square-foot storage buildin~ on approximately 12.5 acres of <br />land developed with Parkview Hospital, incidental offices and parking at 3865 Jackson <br />Street, situated within the block bounded 57 Jackson, Garfield, Wheeler and Miller <br />Streets, in Zop~ R-1-65; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant <br />adverse effect on the enviroranent. A setback variance is requested. The Commission's <br />approval was upheld by the City Council. <br /> <br />ZONING CASE C-18-890 (REVISED) - GOLF HORIZONS, INC. - TEQUESQUITE NORTHWESTERLY OF PALM <br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on Au- <br />gust 23, 1990, the Co~ssion, 57 a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to condi- <br />tions the request of Golf Horizons, Inc., Zoning Case C-18-890 (Revised), for a revised <br />conditional use permit to add two putting greens and three lakes to a previously ap- <br />proved eighteen hole golf course with a restaurant, clubhouse, pro-shop and off-street <br />parking on approximately 179 generally vacant acres situated on ~oth the north and south <br />sides of Tequesquite Avenue northwesterly of Palm Avenue, southeasterly of and adjacent <br />to the Santa Ana River and southwesterly of Mount Rubidoux, in Zone O; and determined <br />that the proposal would not have a significant adverse effect on the environment. The <br />Commission's approval was upheld by the City Council. <br /> <br />PARCEL MAP 25233 - GOLF HORIZONS, INC. - SOUTHEASTERLY SIDE OF TEQUESQUITE (EXTENDED) AT <br />NORTHERLY END OF RUBIDOUX <br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission ad%-lsing that, on Au- <br />gust 23, 1990, the Commission, 57 a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to condi- <br />tions the request of Golf Horizons, Inc., Parcel Map 25233, to divide approximately <br />59 vacant acres into approximately two parcels for recreational purposes, situated on <br />the southeasterly side of Toquesquite Avenue (extended) and at the northerly end of Kubi- <br />doux Avenue, approximately 3,000 feet southwesterly of the intersection of Palm and To- <br />quesquite Avenues and adjacent to the Santa Ana River, in Zone O; and determined that <br />the proposal would not have a significant adverse effect on the environment.
