<br />eresenting the Magnolia Center Chamber of Commerce.

<br />CONSENT CALENDAR
<br />The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to
<br />those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for con-
<br />sideration.

<br />ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION COMMISSION

<br />CASE EPC-83-901 - PROPOSED ESTABLISHMENT OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 91-2 -
<br />PORTION OF HUNTER BUSINESS PARK SPECIFIC PLAN AREA
<br />A communication was presented from ~he Environmental Protection Commission advising that,
<br />}on May 29, 1991, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, determined that the pro-
<br />}posal of the City of Riverside to establish Community Facilities District No. 91-2 for a
<br />|portion of the Hunter Business Park Specific Plan area generally bounded by Iowa Avenue
<br />to the west, the Springbrook Wash to the north, the Box Springs Mountain Regional Park to
<br />the east and Spruce Street to the south, will not have a significant effect on the envi-
<br />ronment; and recommended that the City Council adopt a Negative Declaration. The purpose
<br />of the Community Facilities District is to provide financing of various infrastructure
<br />and land acquisition to develop the approved industrial uses in the Specific Plan area.
<br />The City Council upheld the Commission's determination; and adopted the Negative
<br />Declaration.

<br />,CASE EPC-78-901 - VAN BUREN STREET WIDENING
<br />eA communication was presented from the Environmental Protection Co~ission advising that,
<br />Ion Mmy 29, 1991, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, determined that the pro-
<br />}posal of the City of Riverside to widen approximately 150 feet of Van Buren Boulevard
<br />lfrom 64 feet to 100 feet from curb-to-curb between Indiana Avenue and the 91 Freeway will
<br />~not have a significant effect on the environment; and recommended that the City Council
<br />}a opt a
<br /> d Negative Declaration. The City Council upheld the Commission's determination;
<br />land adopted the Negative Declaration.

<br />~CASE ALUC-14-901/ZONING CASE R-56-89Q/TRACT 25728 - APPEA~ - 9160-9201 AUDREY
<br />s communication was presented from the Planning Department relative to the appeal of
<br />IPacifica Far-West States, Inc., from the decision of the Airport Land Use Commission that
<br />~their proposal to develop an approximately 1.5-acre site with eight duplexes for
<br />~two-family residential living, located at 9160-9201 Audrey Avenue, is not consistent
<br />~with the Airport Land Use Plan; recommending that the City Council (1) adopt the findings
<br />}listed in Section IV of their report; and (2) approve the applicant's appeal and override
<br />Ithe decision of the ALUC, subject to the mitigation measures contained in Section V of
<br />~their report. The recommendations were approved; thereby overruling the decision of the
<br />!ALUC.
