Motion <br /> Second <br /> All Ayes <br /> <br /> PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br /> Mayor Pro Tempore Buster presented a Proclamation to Paul Sauttar, Director of Community <br /> Relations for the Blood Bank of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, proclaiming <br /> June 16-22, 1991, as 40th Anniversary Blood Bank Week in the City. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pro Tempore Buster presented the Inland Empire Section, American Planning Associa- <br /> tion Meritorious Awards for historic preservation to representatives of 01d Spaghetti <br /> Factory International, the Latimer Family and Thirtieth Street Architects for the preser- <br /> vation, adaptive-use and rehabilitation of the American Fruit Growers Packing House <br /> (Sutherlaud Packing House) as au Old Spaghetti Factory restaurant. <br /> <br /> The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Rich Biber representing the Arling- <br /> ton Chamber of Commerce, Ralph Mahaffey representing the La Sierra Chamber of Commerce <br /> and Lance Gilmer representing the University-Canyon Crest Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> The following items, presented to the City Council on the Consent Calendar'for considera- <br /> tion, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each item, with the <br /> following exceptions: the report relative to the Fairmount Municipal Golf Course Lease, <br /> which was pulled from the agenda; the continuation of the report relative to Health and Motion <br /> e Safety Code Inspection in Mobile Home Parks for one week; and the setting of a public Second <br /> ~hearing for Zoning Case V-191-901, Case DR-109-901 and Casc EPC-76-901. All Ayes <br /> <br /> CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE C-38-778 (REVISED) - AMOS TEMi~LE - 2719-2743 ELEVENTH <br /> A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on May 23, <br /> 1991, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to conditions the <br /> request of Amos Temple, Zoning Case C-38-778 (Revised), for a revised conditional use per- <br /> mit to remodel and expand an existing church by adding approximately 16,500 square feet <br /> of land to the west of the existing church site and constructing an approximately 3,535- <br /> square-foot, two-story addition to the existing church building on approximately 0.57 <br /> acre of land at 2719-2743 Eleventh Street, developed with a single-family dwelling, church <br /> building and unimproved parking, situated at the north corner of Eleventh Street and <br /> Victoria Avenue, in Zone R-2; and determined that the proposal would not have a signifi- <br /> cant adverse effect on the environment. The Commission's approval was upheld by the City <br /> Council. <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE M~-4-901 - H~N'RYK BARTKOWIAK - 413 NORTH ORANGE <br /> A communication ~as presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on May 23, <br /> 1991, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to conditions the <br /> request of Henryk Bartkowiak, Zoning Case MP-4-901, for an industrial plot plan consist- <br /> ing of an approximately 500-square-foot industrial building, off-street parking and land- <br /> scaping on approximately 0.53 vacant acre of land at 413 North Orange Street, situated on <br /> the northwest side of North Orange Street northerly of Placentia Lane, in Zones MP and <br /> eM-1; <br /> and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse effect on the <br /> environment.
